The cabins at Joshua Tree Lake RV and Campground offer a charming, well-maintained escape with a strong sense of community. Guests frequently mention the cozy and clean atmosphere, with the communal fire pit being a popular gathering spot. While the facilities are generally praised for cleanliness, some reviews note that the shared fire pit could be a downside for those seeking a more private experience. The proximity to Joshua Tree National Park and the friendly, accommodating staff add to the overall positive impression, making it a convenient and enjoyable destination for visitors.

Loved the Shipping Container Setup
I had an amazing stay at this unique Joshua Tree campsite. The combination of RVs and repurposed shipping containers created a fun, creative vibe while still keeping things budget-friendly. Everything was thoughtfully set up and had a laid-back, welcoming feel that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the desert surroundings. One of the highlights for me was the duck pond on site. It added such a peaceful, relaxing touch to the whole experience. I spent a lot of time there just watching the ducks and soaking in the quiet—such a perfect spot to unwind and reset. If you’re looking for an affordable, outdoorsy stay with a bit of personality, this place definitely hits the mark. I’d absolutely come back!

Beautiful starry skies!
Group trip ·
The campsite was quiet - conveniently near a main road, but without road noise. The hosts were very welcoming, kind, and responsive. We cooked on the gas grill, and also had our own little camping stove. We used the common camp fire area, and it was great. The cabin had heat and AC, and was so, so clean. We are recommending the place to our friends. We rented a cabin (for 4 people) but there are also great RV sites and tent sites.

Perfect for an inexpensive glamp
Excellent space. I think my friend and I were one of the first guests to stay in these new hostelcubes, so it was immaculate. The location was pretty great if you aren't looking to camp inside the national park. The RV park as a whole is very clean and functional. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are in great shape. Highly recommend.

Amazing find! This was perfect for flying across the country and not having to pack camping gear. The campground was safe, clean, well maintained and the staff was super nice. As a woman travelling alone, bonus points on the feeling safe and able to do what I wanted to do! Will definitely be back.

I LOVED my stay here! Warm shower, comfy bed, cool aesthetic. Super clean! I also felt safe because all doors use a passkey and there are lockers in the cabin for your valuables. Also it was only a 10-15 minute drive into town. 10/10 experience :)
