Open space and nice view. Did not use any amenities as we are self contained. Dog approved lots of space for walks

The site was nice. Nice soft grass and a really nice shower and a kitchen sink set up.

I was pleasantly surprised to be able to find such an amazing campsite right in the Bay Area. The land is incredibly beautiful and can accommodate a large number of people while giving everyone enough space to feel like they’re having their own private experience. I will definitely be back!

The Ranch was PERFECT for us! We had such a good time in March 2025. The host Matt was very communicative, and answered questions very quickly. I really appreciated that. The space was perfect for our style of tent camping. The "outhouse" was more like the Taj Mahal of facilities. Wonderful constructed, metal walls, a sun shower, a full toilet, full sink, mirror, electricity. The farm and animals were fun. We put up canopies, and used our cars as informal wind breaks. I aske each camper to bring two bundles of wood and that was great. There is a fire pit at each tent camping site, and a picnic table. We had s'mores, sang, played guitar, looked at stars, played D&D, had deep conversations ... it was PERFECT.

The Ranch at Cross Road
This was our second time camping on Matt's land. We enjoy it in the Springtime before the heat sets in and the surrounding hills are still green. The campsites are well marked and spread out enough that even with a relatively busy weekend, we still felt like we had our privacy. The bathroom is still a nice feature. Large and well maintained. I'm sure we'll be back again!

Six stars out of five! Matt the Host is great. The "outhouse" is really a quality constructed metal building, raised, with instant hot water no roof shower (incredible). Full sink, mirror, lights, electricity, and full regular toilet. There is PLENTY of space in the tent camping area. It's huge and our group reserved two spots and spread way out. Fire rings at each tent camping spot + a picnic table. We put up canopies and used cars as informal wind breaks. We had so much fun! Hills, cows, sunrises, sunsets, s'mores, fire, guitar, stars (so clear!) and more.
We are already looking to book for next year!
