Chaparral Loop: Tent Site T4
A lovely stay on our way North
This is a lovely spot. The mountain is magnificent, there's a shower and flushing toilets, as well as handwashing. Glamping in a tent! The grounds are nice, and there's a nice stroll around the entire property. We will definitely come back.
Note that this particular site is not large enough for a car and a tent though, just a car or tent, unless you park somewhere else, which I couldn't find signage for when we arrived. The site next door has car parking and tent space, so if you need more space check that one.
1-5 is a stones throw away, but it's not too distruptive, and most who'd want quiet would be camping more remotely.

Chaparral Loop: Tent Site T3
Just be prepared there is no sound barrier between the campground and the highway (you can see it from the edge of the campground) and do not walk barefoot on the mulch or get it in your sandals, it's very splintery and luckily I already had tweezers or else I'd have to guy buy some (I walk barefoot on trails and in my backyard all the time so it's something about the mulch on that site).

Gorgeous campsite and area! Check in process was very straightforward also. Would definitely stay here again.

A2 RV Site: Back In
Nice little campground. Owner Karen was very accommodating when there was a slight mix up in site location. Convenient if traveling I-5. However, that convenience means some traffic noise.

Great Spot!
Our host was wonderful. She even brought us coffee when we forgot ours. The site was clean and private. We’d definitely stay here again.
