Our small, friendly campground offers clean, comfortable bathrooms with (free!) hot showers and a coin-op laundry room. Community fire pit and BBQ area, too! Minutes from world-class fishing, hiking, climbing, kayaking, skiing... all year long, it's an outdoorsman's paradise! Use us as your base camp for all your North State adventures! Did we mention we have barn cats, goats, chickens, and turkeys to watch, feed and pet? Fruit trees and wild blackberries. Walking trails through the forest, and the most perfect hilltop spot to kick back in our comfy Adirondacks with a glass of wine to stargaze.

Chaparral Loop: Tent Site T2
Loved the campsite, had such a nice view of the mountain. Everything was really great, and I appreciated all of the amenities being offered. Only downside is I wish the bathrooms would get checked/cleaned more often. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. Same trash was there during our stay & filled up fast from the first day. Someone left a mess in the toilet on the first day & that also stayed there since the first day. There were about 4 other campsites that were using those 2 bathrooms, so I think it should be maintained daily for sanitary & for good host reasons.

Amazing experience camping.
I loved camping! Our tent site had a beautiful view of Mt. Shasta and the surrounding mountains. The bathrooms are nice and clean! Karen and Jay helped check in and answered all our questions when we contacted them. I loved sleeping under the stars; it was a unique and relaxing experience for my friends and me. Thank you for hosting us, and we look forward to camping again at this site shortly!

Lovely, clean, and cozy spot! The chickens and goats on the property add a charming touch. I had purchased eggs online through Hipcamp, but unfortunately, they were sold out when I arrived. However, the host was quick to refund me. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Chaparral Loop: Tent Site T5
Beautiful views of Mt Shasta
Tent camping here was amazing! We checked in on a Sunday, so the site office was not open, but there was a map of the park with our name and directions to the site! Loved the personalization. The tent sites were separated from the RV park, so there was no concern for generator noise or lights from the RVs which was great. You could hear and see the freeway from the site, but it was not obtrusive. The tent sites also had their own bathhouse, which was clean and well provisioned. Trash cans were easily available throughout. The campers at the site next to us had lights and music going into the night, but there was still plenty of separation to have some privacy. With all that being said, the views here are UNREAL. We had a beautifully lit view of Mt Shasta during sunset and some pretty spectacular stargazing.

A great night!
We loved tent camping here!!! The camp store was so cute and had everything we needed. The animals were cute and the views at sunset were unmatched. The bathrooms were also surprisingly nice and made it feel like we were glamping :) such a great set up.
