We named our property the Twisted Branch after one of the big oak trees that sits on the site where you will camp with us! It's on a hilltop with amazing views in nearly all directions. The campsite faces South/West so sunsets are fantastic. We use no chemicals on the soil or annual grasses. It is very quiet and the night sky is always stunning. Owls hoot at night and Redtail Hawks hunt for ground squirrels during the day. We have alot of Acorn woodpeckers living in the oak trees, the ones with the bright red head feathers. April through June we see bright yellow Orioles. At night you will hear hundreds of little frogs in the nearby ponds, depending on the season. We are located in the heart of Wine Country and there are plenty of activities around us and in town.Peace and quiet, views all around, clear, starry nights, in the country but minutes from town.  This is what you experience at the Twisted Branch in Paso Robles, CA. The site is on top of a hill and overlooks vineyards and ranches. It is flat and amenities are minimal. It's the perfect place to unwind, decompress and enjoy nature. The 180+ degree views are incredible.  You will see birds, deer, fox, rabbits, and other wildlife.  The dirt driveway is a bit steep for larger RV's, therefore our limit is 20' and 4 wheel drive is recommended. There are several large beautiful oak trees with heavy low canopies on the way to the site. In the summer and fall, there is risk of damage to higher-than-standard trailers. We are near Sculpterra Winery and Cass Wineries. The town of Paso Robles is 4 miles away and has anything you may need. We have found that Google maps are much more accurate than Apple maps. Going North on 101 and exiting Spring St/Niblick Rd., Exit 229, is the best choice. Going South on 101, the best route is 101 South to 46 East and exiting at Union Rd. The sign is small and just east of Golden Hill Rd. At the end of Broken Spur Place, We look forward to sharing our little piece of paradise with you!

Twisted Branch
Cute, clean, cozy, great views!
Twisted Branch was so cute, and clean! Amazing views, clean toilet. Not as private as we thought from the images, but we had a rig that created a barrier between bench and the rest of the space! We loved it. Other than that, would recommended. The Host was very sweet.

Twisted Branch
Twisted Branch was a great camp spot in Paso. Private site on the hill overlooking wine country- yeah- pretty sweet. Private. Quiet. A picnic table and porta-potti made it just right. We hit up Rasmussen winery on the way. They make some great wines and just down the hill. Will definitely try to come back to Twisted Branch again. Great base for Paso if you want to wine and camp!
