Windy Hollow Farm is an off-the-grid farmstead located on the Mendocino Coast in California. We are 3 generations of family tending 20 acres of coastal prairie. Bryce, Ben, and Jennifer will be around as your hosts. Staying on the farm for a weekend, or a week, offers a glimpse into farmstead living. We have two small hand-built sleeping cabins available for guests. The cabins are cozy and rustic with woodstoves, composting toilets, and a shared outdoor shower. A separate kitchen cabin is available for cooking simple meals. Visitors have access to the gardens, greenhouse, and trails.

Windy Hollow Yellow Camping Cabin
A dreamy escape
Windy Hollow is a perfect mix of rustic beauty and cozy comfort. I enjoyed every moment of my solo glamping experience. Jennifer and her family have created a truly beautiful place by honoring the land with their extensive experience in environmental preservation. Staying here was much more special than at a hotel or a random camping spot. I will absolutely be back.

Windy Hollow Farm Camping Cabins
A lovely getaway!
Windy Hollows Farm Cabin is a peaceful retreat nestled in the stunning countryside of Point Arena, conveniently located only about 4 minutes from town. The cabin itself is cozy and well-equipped, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and wide-open spaces, it's the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy nature. The homey cabin setting in the farm adds a charming, rustic touch, and the hosts (and their dog Jack!) are friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re exploring the nearby coastline or simply relaxing in the serene environment, this cabin is a wonderful escape. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

Windy Hollow Yellow Camping Cabin
Directions to Windy Hollow Farm were superb! We stayed in the Yellow cabin. Upon arrival we found it very clean and the beds were super comfortable with flannel bottom sheet and flannel comforter that was just the right amount of warmth for the low 50's sleeping temperatures. Wood burning stove worked perfectly and they provided ample split logs and kindling/newpaper to get a fire started. Communal kitchen cabin was convenient and well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Composting outhouse was surprisingly oder free and we always love a hot outdoor shower..... and don't miss hanging out with their dog Jack. He is a special character with incredibly beautiful eyes.

Thank you thank you thank you
This trip was a dream! We were worried about how our three and one year-old would handle it and the campsite was easy to navigate the cabin was beyond clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. I regret not bringing coffee grounds because it would’ve been the best place to read my book in the morning and sit with a cup of Oh, it was Brown before we left because it was hot coffee. My husband and I are looking forward to booking again hopefully really soon. It
