Yosemite Westlake Tent Site #10
Great place to hang out and plan your Yosemite activities! It's got a community vibe and it's quiet - depending on the other guests of course. The sites are essentially first come first serve. We had a great time. The actual park is about 30 - 35 minutes away. There's a bathroom with showers that were clean and the restrooms were enclosed for privacy - complete with a sink in the 'private' bathroom. We had a great time!

A Must Stay
Embarking on an adventure at Yosemite Westlake Campground was like stepping into a haven nestled amidst nature's embrace. Our campsite, complete with an RV spot boasting full hookups and shaded by ancient trees, became our home for three enchanting nights. From the moment we arrived, Mac and John, the amiable hosts, welcomed us with warmth. Mac, in particular, took it upon himself to ensure every camper was relishing their stay, making rounds and spreading cheer. The campground itself was a treasure trove of delights. Gas grills beckoned from various corners, conveniently stocked with pots, pans, and utensils tucked behind the rustic charm of the restroom area. An outdoor sink added to the convenience, making cooking under the open sky a delightful experience. Our children discovered the joy of horseshoes and basketball, their laughter echoing through the campground as they embraced these newfound pastimes. One of the greatest draws of Yosemite Westlake Campground was its proximity to the majestic Yosemite National Park, beckoning us with promises of breathtaking vistas and untamed wilderness. Considering the affordability, abundance of amenities, and the genuine hospitality of our hosts, our stay at Yosemite Westlake Campground was nothing short of extraordinary. It's a place we'd eagerly return to, knowing it holds the promise of more unforgettable adventures beneath starlit skies and among towering pines.

Yosemite Westlake RV Site #9
The reports of filth and excessive cats are incorrect as of June 17, 2024. John was curtious, and helpful. A few sites have no shade so look at your Google maps before you choose. The hookups all worked. The water here is rust colored. I highly recommend a pre-filter or you'll stain your appliances. Sites are close to each other and depending on the wind you may get smoked out at night. Overall I'm no regretting staying here. It's a 30-45 minutes from pretty much everything be it the lakes or Yosemite.

RV Camping
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and escorted by bicycle to our campsite. The host shared helpful information about Yosemite trails, and locational tidbits. A quiet and lovely place, with beautiful baby sequoia trees. About a 28 mile drive to Yosemite National Park Entrance. Would definitely stay again!
