Andy was an incredible host. He helped us get settled in and made sure we had everything we needed. The camp is really nice and the sites are well spaced apart. We will definitely be back!
Andy was very accommodating and we had the whole place to ourselves close to the airport so you get some overhead noise but it’s about as quiet as you’ll get that close to Denver. Would def go back.
The eastern plains and all the bird song were beautiful. It's an quick hop off I-70 and the parking pads were easy to get in and out of. We found a lovely viewing bench in the far back of the property surrounded by wide open spaces and we were able to see Pikes Peak way off in the distance. There's good sized off leash fenced area where the dogs ran off some steam. The hosts were great, really nice and helpful. Thanks so much! We will definitely return.
This is my family and i’s second time staying at Apollo Ranch and no words other than, book it!!! 10/10 host communication, 10/10 views, 10/10 over all fantastic stay.
Andy was the best Hip Camp Host we've have to date! I had a few questions before placing our booking and he answered them quickly. Then after booking, arrival instructions were very detailed. We were in communication on our day of arrival and unfortunately, we ran into mechanical issues with our tow vehicle and ended up arriving a day late for our reservation. Andy was SO understanding. We ended up staying somewhere else that night and arrived around 11am the next day. He met us at the driveway, we had a good conversation about our issues and more! Andy then helped direct us to our spot, show us where everything was (water, power, port-a potty, available firewood, ect) and then was available via message if needed. Everything was as described in the listing and was a perfect stop for us on our road trip. Andy went above and beyond for us the first night we couldn't make it, which lessened the stress of a very stressful day. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Andy!
The campsite was not set back as far from the buildings as I had hoped, but it was still far enough to not feel like camping in someone’s backyard, and the barn is between the main house and the campsite, so there is plenty of privacy. The port-a-potty was very clean and conveniently located, and the fire pit (with wood provided!) was perfect. The kids and I had a blast. Andy was an excellent host.
