Site 1 - Cottonwood Shaded RV Spot
Cottonwood was a great spot with full hookups and a large area to relax. We were on the end of a two camping trip throughout Colorado and actually did more relaxing and resting at this site then anywhere else. They had a nice trail to the Arkansas river and a propane fire pit to use. Full hookups are always a bonus with a Hipcamp. The only downside was a bit of road noise from the highway but that is to be expected by it's location. A good spot to explore Salida, Buena Vista and Leadville areas.

Medium Canvas Tent in the Aspens
Loved the Colorado Tent in the Aspens!! We definitely want to come back and fish when the river is running at lower levels, but seeing the rafting and kayaking was cool too!! Bathhouse was very clean.

Site 2 - Cottonwood Shaded RV Spot
Highly Recommend!!
We loved our stay at Frenchman’s Creek Ranch!! Easy to find, site #2 was shaded, and we loved the wood adirondack chairs around the propane fire place. Nice walk to Arkansas River was a plus!! . All the farm animals were a treat to see too!! Highly recommend!!

Spot was perfect weekend get away. Privacy from the surrounding aspens, as well as the great layout of the tent, chairs, picnic area and car parking. This spot went above and beyond what I had imagined from reading the other reviews.

Canvas Tent in the Aspen Grove
My kids and I had a great time camping at Belinda and Todd's land. Rustic enough to be away from the hustle and bustle but not too far from the local downtown and hot springs areas. Clean bathrooms and hot showers are always a treat at the end of a long day. The tent itself was very comfortable and we stayed safe and dry during the rains. This is a place we would definitely stay at again.
