5.25 acres with amazing mountain views and spectacular sunsets. There is a gentle slope to the terrain with rocks and some shade trees. The recommended camping area by the fire pit has a good size level parking area perfect for camper trailers, tents, cars, a small RV, or over-landing rigs. There is also a good level tent site nestled in between the trees. The property is not fenced in and may occasionally be visited by free range cattle, pronghorn, and other local wildlife. There are many hiking, hunting, and fishing locations close by. Good cellphone service (Verizon) Easy 1 hour 20 minute drive from Colorado Springs or 2 hours from Denver Eleven Mile State Park - 22 miles Spinney Mountain State Park - 19 miles Antero Reservoir - 19 miles FairPlay -31 miles Hartsel - 12 miles Lake George - 29 milesThere is a large mostly level clearing near the fire pit which is the recommended camping area. This space can accommodate an RV, camper trailer, or about 3 trucks/cars. Plenty of room to spread out and set up a tent. See photos for property lines

Stunning
We loved staying on Arthur’s land it was perfect for us to get off the beaten path and enjoy viewing the stars and watching the gorgeous sunset. We loved Hartsel, there isn’t much but it’s just beautiful. We will never forget this gorgeous place!

This is a fantastic site with plenty of flat spots to pitch a tent! Our dogs loved running around the property, the log benches around the fire pit were a great touch, and on clear nights you get a wide open view of the sky for stargazing. We were even lucky to catch a glimpse of some northern lights which was really special! Sad we could only stay for one night but hope to be back again, thanks for hosting a great site Arthur! A note to fellow campers: please please PLEASE clean up after yourselves! There is no reason for anyone to be leaving behind used menstrual products, doggy poop bags, and other grossness anywhere, especially not on someone’s property when they are so kind to host campers! Let’s all do our part to leave places better than we found them so that everyone can continue to enjoy awesome sites like these (:

Great getaway!
Beautiful camping spot, close to many great recreational reservoirs! You’re a short jaunt to many nearby mountain towns. The spot felt secluded and was very peaceful. Arthur was very responsive and helpful answering all of my inquiries! I Will definitely keep this spot on the car camping list!
