Basalt Mountain Oasis is perched on a south facing mountainside with incredible views of 3 14ers including Capitol Peak. It is a completely private location in the middle of nature yet only two miles from Basalt, and 20 miles from Aspen and Carbondale. We have produce growing in the gardens and greenhouse and herbal products for sale and will email you what is available before you check in and can have it stocked in the fridge.

It was a great comfortable yurt with nice privacy. The outdoor shower was lovely and the place had everything you need in terms of dishes and coffee-making.

Weekend Yurt Getaway
I only have great things to say. The yurt was great with an amazing location, beautiful view and wonderfully organized and prepared. The kitchen was stocked with the basics you need, the bed was comfy, the decor was welcoming and the stove heat the yurt perfectly. My husband and I booked this to have a base as we explored the area and fished. Would love to come again!. From morning coffee with a view to night time stargazing...we loved this place. Ginger does a great job making sure you have all the amenities you may need in the middle of a beautiful natural landscape.

The yurt was so much fun! We had a group of 4 so the pull out couch came in handy, and was very comfortable. We loved cooking dinner in the yurt and exploring the surrounding towns. Thanks, Ginger!
