Terrible Experience with Host
I had a terrible experience at this accomodation, but especially with the host. I booked three nights as I was seeing two shows at Red Rocks. When I arrived in town the first day, I messaged the host that I would be arriving after the show. She called me we had a phone conversation about check in, and she messaged photos clarifying directions and use of the Wagon. The listing described a heated wagon, implying there is electricity, which there is not. Instead there is battery box, and when I arrived at 11:30 pm, I could not turn on the heater. It appeared broken, or the battery box read less than 50% charge so I thought perhaps there wasn't enough power to run it. It was desert cold, and the bedding had thin blankets, was hard and uncomfortable, and I was freezing the entire night and could not sleep. The wagon description was misleading in many other ways. I left early, and messaged the host that I was happy to pay for the night I stayed, but I was so uncomfortable, I could not stay the remaining two nights. The host called me and was irate, belittling, and verbally abusive which I have never experienced in all my years of traveling with a host. I had to block her from incessantly texting me after the phone conversation about how wrong I was about her wagon condition. She insisted if I had checked in earlier she could have shown me how to turn on the heater, which very well may have been true, however her unprofessional behavior was unacceptable & alarming.

The host was kind, however this place should not be classified as glamping. If you were looking for a comfortable bed to spend a night at, this place would suffice, but it is very crammed with minimal amenities so I would not recommend it if looking for a glamping spot.

Absolutely stunning!
This is such a beautiful stay! The views are absolutely stunning. I had loved how everything had set up inside & the outdoors was super cozy. I definitely recommend checking out this space and enjoy the stay! I’d love to come out again to spend the whole day there since I got other plans throughout the day and arrived about 7:30/8pm, it was still such a pleasant stay for few hours. The drive through the mountains was absolutely stunning too! I can’t imagine how the sunset & sunrise views would be so beautiful to see up there! I can’t say enough of how beautiful this space is, you won’t regret one bit for staying here!

Unique and beautiful place!
Easy to find. Unique, gorgeous.
So many special and unique touches. Stayed warm and dry through the summer time.
Host was easy to communicate with and gracious.
Space met all my needs and exceeded my expectations.
The Yoga studio was magical and the yoga class with the host the next morning was really great for my back and mental health.
Definitely hoping to come back.

A rustic, step back in time.
Put your electronics down, breath the fresh mountain air and be prepared to take a step back in time. The bed is comfy with plenty of room. The wagon is cozy, just big enough fir the 2 of you. A very rustic experience. I highly recommend for any occasion. Fellas if you're looking for romance, or a place to ask the question, this is it. Amazing host, I look forward to seeing Tess again in the future.
