Rollinsville Adventure Camp is a 5 acre slice of the Rocky Mountains, perched at approximately 9,000 feet above sea level, in the shadow of the nearby Continental divide. The property features towering pine trees, beautiful aspens, and is surrounded by national forest on all sides. The campsites are all located within the safe confines of a gated, five foot fence that surrounds the property. The property once served as a Llama Ranch. We have repurposed the old llama loafing shed into a common area/ lounge area where any guests are welcome to make use of the space, which includes a 2 burner gas camp stove, a refrigerator, and a propane gas bbq grill. There is also a gas fire pit on the patio at the Llama Lounge for guests to enjoy, as well as a hammock, hanging hammock chair, and a picnic table for guests to utilize while enjoying the common space of the Llama Lounge.
Edward's property was clean and offered a few nice amenities - picnic tables, gas fire pit, kitchen cookware, grill, wifi, and a porta potty. Easy drive from Nederland!

There's a fence around the perimeter of the camping spots, I understand it may be safety from the animals, I felt like a caged animal. My idea of camping is to minimize the confines of the city, rest of the world. Camp spots could have been more inviting with a graded area to place your tent, perhaps your own picnic table. Also, there is a closed gate when you approach the property, you're not sure if you should open our not. Also, there's a portapotty, it may say this in the listing?

We stopped for one night over LDW and we loved our stay! Super close to Rollinsville pizza place, brewery, and coffee shop (All super yummy and great by the way!) The campsite was easy to find and felt safe and secure. The amenities were a bonus and definitely worth the price. Beautiful piece of land, right in the middle of national forest. Peaceful. You’re close to the other sites but it was a nice sense of community and everyone was respectful. Definitely will be coming back soon!

I stayed here 2 years ago and had a great time. This time I came back with some more of my friends. The location is beautiful with access to the National Forest. We did some hiking, and even went rock climbing in Boulder Canyon just up the road. It rained off and on, so we hung out in the Llama Lounge with the propane fire pit, chatting and playing games. The stove, grill, and fridge made meal prep super easy, and it was comforting not to have to worry about bears. We had some first time campers in the group, and they had a blast!

This was easy to find and a clean campground. and clean portapotty. Especially appealing is the 3 sided shelter with (prep) table, chairs and hammocks, as it was an enjoyable place to read during the couple showers. Many thanks for the ready-to-use 2-burner Coleman stove (bring your lighter). Dog-friendly. There are some nice walks in the woods behind. Walked further up the road to interesting Forest Service sign and views.
