5 acres of trees up on a hill with breathtaking views of the mountains, including the 14er peak, Mount Sneffels. Only 5 miles from the small mountain town of Ridgway, Colorado and only 30 miles from the famous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. Friendly hosts willing to offer great advice about how to explore the area. The mountain views from the property makes you imagine you are in Nepal looking at one of the Himalayan Peaks!Park your van or car (there is a space for tent not far from the parking spot…note: must be totally self contained, toilet, etc). Walk 50 yards from your spot and set up your chairs and enjoy the sense of being in the wild and viewing the Rockies where Mount Sneffels is the showpiece. You can easily imagine you in Nepal viewing the Mountains. You are only a short drive away from Orvis Hot Springs, Ouray Hot Springs, and 30 minutes from downtown Telluride, Colorado.

Perfect couple of days.
Incredible relaxing experience with great access to town, awesome hikes, and the San Juans. Terra is such a wonderful host and I can’t wait to return!!

Spectacular Mountain Getway
Peaceful
Terra was a great host and her land was perfect for me! It was quiet, peaceful, great views. I was a bit nervous before I met with her as I had never rented a place on someones property, BUT, to my happiness, everything was as it was described. I felt safe and would totally rent from her again. If you are looking for peace and quiet and to be away from people, this is the place. It was easy to find and only 10 min drive to shops, restaurants and things to do.

Spectacular Mountain Getway
Beautiful view. The campsite has so much cacti though. Not a good spot if bringing your pets. We booked for two nights and after the first night the host texted us early in the morning asking when we would be exiting. Made us think she double booked her site.

Terra’s campsite had a magnificent view and she helped us finding new activities to do due to changing weather conditions. Great stay and lovely host!

Beautiful!
The best view you could ask for of Mt Sneffles, a small gravel round right out of Ridgway, way to get to in our SUV. Terra was a great communicator and made sure we were all set up, she even let us use her campfire and wood since it was unseasonably cold that night. Beautiful deer walking around our tent in the morning. Couldn’t have asked for more
