Serene Camp Site #1
Not very private but a decent site
We were at site 1. It wasn’t as private as I expected and hoped from reading other reviews. You can definitely see and hear the other campsites. It also wasn’t as level ground as I would have hoped but it wasn’t terrible. There were 1000s of moths everywhere at the time we were there but it wasn’t too bothersome. Other than that we had a nice stay and would mostly recommend it. Everyone nearby that night was respectful of not being noisy. Price was good.

Secluded Fir Site #5
Amazing spot! Will be returning. Some friends and I stayed here so that we would be close to Horsetooth Reservoir and it was perfect. The site is secluded enough from the neighbors and the views are very beautiful. Hope to stay here again soon!

West Oaks Site #4
This is a beautiful, wooded area with great scenery. We even had a doe with her two little fawns walk right by us while we were eating dinner inside (not venison 😉). We came here to get away from the heat (elevation is about 7,000 feet), and while it was still quite warm at times, it was at least 8 degrees cooler than the lower elevations. We also had plenty of shade all day and some nice breezes.
For this space (site #4), if you go past the tree line where it is more private, there’s not much room to turn around. Check it out before you go in! We had to back our 20-foot trailer out, carefully so it wouldn’t be scratched by dead tree limbs. Also, once others arrived at site #3, we didn’t have the privacy and space between sites that we prefer. Everyone was courteous of the close proximity during our stay, but more space between sites would be nice. It would be great for groups using multiple sites!

Serene Camp Site #1
We had a great time tent camping here. The site was quiet and secluded with a gorgeous view of the woods. We loved the Adirondack chairs around the campfire. Highly recommended.

Great spot if you’re looking for something more private than the reserved spots along 14. 17 miles from the Mish, not 7. Great view and she’s a very helpful and friendly host
