Great quiet spot!
Great flat spot in Durango. Pretty secluded but a lot of neighbors in the distance. Really beautiful area and quiet.

I was in a pickle after having a previous Hip Camp not be usable on a holiday weekend. Angie allowed for an instant book and was super quick to respond so thank you! The spot is gorgeous! The views are expansive and even though there are houses around it feels very private and it was super quiet. There is zero windbreak as you are on a mountain (to be expected) so be prepared for that if you rely on awnings/awning rooms. The water pump and power pole worked great. Excellent location close to Durango and easy access. If you tow a large rig you can bypass that crazy 550 climb by continuing onto 160 and going in the back way. Much easier. I had decent AT&T cell service (2 bars) and full T-Mobile WiFi. I work from my camper and could have easily worked here. Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
