This cabin is up to par with meeting the safe at home corona virus standards for cleaning. This great little turn of the century bungalow has it all. This home has recently been renovated to have all the upgraded amenities while still preserving that classic historical feel. Large amounts of trails out your back door. One will have easy access to the home with a keypad code to come and go as they please. If you bring a dog there's a $25 pet fee per dog per day! Lake county license# 2022-21Home to 3 different fourteeners out your back door. Hiking, running, rafting, mountain biking, fishing, etc. we got here. The village at Twin Lakes grew in popularity once gold was discovered in the area, with commerce centered there for area miners. In the 1860s, the area, then known as Dayton, became the county seat. When gold was discovered on Independence Pass, a toll road was established between Leadville and Aspen, making Twin Lakes the transportation hub between the two towns. After the silver boom in Leadville in 1878 to 1879, Twin Lakes became a popular summer resort, attracting the wealthy. For a more detailed look at Twin Lake’s history, follow this historic walking tour, which highlights some of the town’s original buildings. Sh

Perfect wedding weekend
We had an absolutely perfect weekend here! The mountains around the cabin are breathtaking and made my elopement so special! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful quiet town to fully enjoy the nature here. The host was very responsive and friendly as well.

Perfect Getaway
With pets
Cozy, uncomfortable house a block off the main street in Twin Lakes. Sitting on the front porch to the fabulous view of fall colors with our wine in the evening and coffee in the morning was definitely the highlight. The house is well equipped with just about everything you could need… Even a fanny pack and hiking poles. Just around the corner from the general store if you need anything. Quiet. The activity highlight was hiking the trail to the InterLaken historical site from the east end of the lakes. Beautiful trail!

This cabin is adorable and comfortable. My only issue was that both beds were extremely tall. Location is great and the people around the little town are lovely. Communication with the host was excellent.

This is a really homey and well thought out retreat. We absolutely loved every minute here, from watching the moonrise on the porch to heading down to the lake at sunrise. Splendid, cozy, charming, everything you need.

Perfect location & beautiful view!
We loved staying at Sweet Retreat Cabin! The cabin had everything we needed to feel like home. The cabin was cozy with beautiful views of the mountains and very quiet! The locations was unbeatable! We were mins away walking distance from fishing and lake views. Also, mins away walking distance from a restaurant, convenient store & food trucks (these are seasonal). The town of Leadville was a nice close drive as well! Our host was gracious and easy to communicate with!
