Tater's was voted a 2024 top runner up as 'Best Hipcamp in Colorado'. 35 acres of bliss shared with 2 humans, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses and 4 chickens [Eggs may be available upon request]. Black Canyon National Park is a short drive to the west. Conveniently located to Crawford and the North Fork Valley to wineries, music fests and local eateries.  Incredible views and dark skies make the perfect respite for just hanging out, climbing in the Black, foodie time in the North Fork Valley or pretty much whatever you like to do. Hunters are welcome as this is a perfect base camp to Unit 63.

Site 3 - Tater's Black Canyon
Such an amazing site! Highly recommend site 3 as you are in front of the other campsites with a great view of needle rock. Location was easy to find and the shower was such a dream after a big hike during the day.

Great camp!
Absolutely amazing view from our camping spot! Bathrooms equipped with a shower were perfect. Short drive to Black Canyon National Park and really could not have been any better, everything was ideal

Even with the lack of cell service their spot was easy to find! Absolutely breath taking views at all hours of the day. I would totally come back to this site!

10/10 views and very clean
The views were stunning, the hosts were very nice and the bathrooms/showers were really clean. The sites are decently far apart so you get a bit of seclusion. I'll have to mention the view again because it was absolutely amazing. Would love to come back here in the future!

Magical Vistas. Stellar bathhouse. A cool shower after hot sweaty day was bliss. Clear instructions, easy to find. Friendly hosts. Faraway feel with close adventure. Totally recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing views!
Beautiful views from the site! There’s also a lake less than five minutes down the road we went paddle boarding on and it was gorgeous! The bathhouse is also one of the best ones I’ve ever been to.
