Meadow Ridge Farm is a 110-acre working dairy farm. But don't be misled, the campsite is very secluded, located over a quarter a mile away from anything. You will get to the campsite by driving down the gravel road past corn fields, pastures and cows, too. The area has so much to offer, including award-winning restaurants, some of the most beautiful hiking trails, wineries, a distillery, and local farmers markets. Three miles away the town green offers shops, historical tours and restaurants. White Memorial Foundation is a 4000-acre nature preserve 4 miles away with over 40 miles of trails and so much more! Fresh raw milk, local eggs, and maple syrup are available on site for purchase. We provide ample fire wood for your campsite so you have one less thing to pack! What's included in your stay: - Canvas 10'x12' tent on raised deck - Fire wood, fire starting materials, kindling, lighters - trash bags and dumpster on property - potable water in 5 gallon jug with water spigot on property - Bed with air mattress(es) - Cooking utensils, salt and pepper, pot holders, paper towels, bottle opener, dish soap and dish pan - Outhouse bathroom with loo waste system, toilet paper - Solar shower and shower stall on backside of outhouse - small wood burning stove in tent for cooler evenings - bug spray and citronella candles - stocked first aide kit What's not included: - bedding, linens, towels - food items - flashlights This is a remote camp site with no access to electricity. Guests may bring and use a generator if they wish.

Cows and Camping :-)
Group trip ·
We love camping here. The wood stove in the tent is great for cold nights. There is a lot of space for both cars and tents to set up, and a picnic table equipped with things like garbage bags, grilling utensils, and bug spray. It is a bummer that the canopy over the table does not protect against rain. The fire pit comes with plenty of firewood for a weekend stay. We stayed for a long weekend and needed a bit more firewood. Tiffany was very helpful with providing that for us. Visiting the cows is one of our favorite things to do during our stay along with star gazing, walking at White Memorial, and playing some corn hole. Can’t wait to return next year!

If you are looking for something secluded and unique, this is your spot! We loved that we were close enough to anything we needed including a cute little town and wineries nearby but still felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! Nothing there to bother us just the sounds of nature and the nearby wildlife! There's also a cow or two to greet you when you come into and leave! Tiffany is an excellent host and there was great communication!

Great time Glamping In Litchfield
With pets ·
We had a great time camping on the farm! It was quite the adventure getting in at dusk with a whole herd of cows making their way up to the barn but we managed our way to our site. It was tucked way back through the corn fields so couldn’t hear or smell the cows at that point. The site is tucked into the trees so it stays cool during the day too, and plenty of space to take a walk down through the fields in the sun. The dogs had a blast running around. And we saw a deer one morning in the corn field right across from our tent!

Beautiful cow farm and corn fields
With pets ·
Great hosts! This is a beautiful active cow farm with fresh raw milk for sale. Our site was very private, easy to get to once you know the path (down the road, up the hill, right at the fork, sharp right-turn into and the first field and left at the 2nd field, down to the end). Cows share the road at times and it's easy to let down the wires to access the roads, which are up or down depending on the time of day for the cows to be directed to different areas of the farm. Our 2yo loved petting the baby cows and walking through the corn fields. Highly recommended location!
