HORSES WELCOME!  Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day.  There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay.  We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom.  It can easily sleep six people.  If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area.  The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in.  This is a sanctuary for our animals.  We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies).  By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals.  We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks.  There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores.  If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles.  We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up.  We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you.  So please come, stay at our farm and relax.  We are here year round.

RV Site 02
Great Time !
We enjoyed are stay at the Why Not Acres. The host was more then accommodating . We had a lax tournament and this was the closed RV site by far. You are about 30 mins from the beach if that is your thing. Close to amenity's. Even had some food delivered. We where in our camper but the tent sites looked very nice if that is how you plan on camping

Why Not Acres Campsite 2
wonderful stay! 10/10 recommend
Marian’s campsite was the best I’ve ever been to! and i’ve been to quite a few. the amenities were incredible (hot, clean shower, clean bathroom, campfire pit with tons of firewood, large flat clearing for tent, hammock provided). Would definitely come back.

Why Not Acres camp site 1
Marian was a kind and responsive host who is raising money for her equine rescue. Camp site was excellent, and there is a very clean bathroom and shower. Complimentary charcoal & wood, and extraordinary fire pit that made cooking easy. And we got to meet the sweet animals! The barn has swallows and a delightful barn smell of well-cared for-creatures. The only unfortunate thing (which was not the fault of our host) was that when the wind was wrong we could smell the next “farm” over, an enormous windowless building presumably housing animals far less fortunate, but Marian’s place is a labor of love worth a visit.
