Laid-back glamping near Evesham, overlooking Bredon Hill and the Malverns.

Wake up to 180-degree views of Bredon Hill and the Malverns before embarking on an adventure to the nearby Cotswolds and Broadway Tower. There's plenty on the doorstep at Bredon-Vale Caravan and Camping where, despite the name, there's also glamping available. Set in the Vale of Evesham on the outskirts of the charming market town, bell tents and a vintage caravan provide guests with comfortable, cosy lodging in a prime position to watch the sunset.

Bredon-Vale is a campsite set up to provide relaxation and rejuvenation. It's BYOB here (Bring Your Own Bedding) but almost everything else is provided, from shared hot showers and clean toilets in the facilities block, to barbecues and firepits, to a reception area that provides essentials (as well as friendly staff who can point you in the direction of the best nearby walks and things to do).

Hipcampers can book a half-day of foraging or a bushcraft course with a local expert for a fun and educational experience. Kids will also enjoy outdoor games on the playing field, and if you're staying in the bell tent you can bring the dog along for walkies with a view. There are a couple of popular local pubs in close proximity, too, and you can take a long walk down to Evesham itself, with the pretty town boasting many pubs, restaurants, and shops, mainly along the River Avon. Then it's back to camp, with the region's low light pollution ensuring starry skies as you huddle around the campfire.

The campsite offers a relaxing and comfortable stay with clean facilities. Guests frequently praise the beautiful bell tents, and many appreciate the fresh croissants delivered in the morning. The hosts are noted for their hospitality and helpfulness, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. While some visitors found the camping pod slightly small for a larger family, the overall consensus is that this site is an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway.

Nancy The Caravan
We had a lovely stay at Bredon-Vale just the two of us for once, it’s such a great place! We stayed in Nancy the 70s Caravan and we loved it, it’s kitted out for what you need and was warm and cosy at night. The site itself is a beautiful spot it’s really peaceful there and the facilities are modern and spotlessly clean. There is a good pub and a farm shop nearby so you are catered for whatever you fancy doing. Jacqui and Jim are a lovely couple that obviously take pride in what they do. What a cracking place, thankyou for having us we will be back 🙂

Really lovely site. Camping pod possibly a little small for us with a fully grown teenager, but would be perfect for a smaller family and was a great base for our weekend trip to the battle of Evesham.

We have one aim – to ensure your stay with us is a delight from beginning to end. We think we have a head start. Our setting overlooks Bredon Hill and the Malverns in the beautiful heart of Worcestershire’s Vale of Evesham, a stone’s throw from the stunning Cotswolds, with culture, colour and history around every corner. Whether you’re on four wheels, or two, or on foot, every day will be a day to remember. Sunsets? Bring your camera. We are a quiet site wrapped in nature - we don't accept groups, but please phone us to discuss this before booking.
Nearby attractions

The Valley in Evesham is a five-minute drive away, featuring 22 shops to peruse, a coffee shop, and an excellent garden centre. There are plenty of big-name brands and high-street stores here, while it's also home to the Evesham Vale Light Railway, a ride-on train that's great fun for the kids. Evesham town centre is only a 10-minute drive away, where guests can visit the picturesque Abbey Park – take a boat ride along the River Avon, admire the Evesham Abbey bell tower, or let the kids enjoy the play area. It's a 20-minute drive to the Georgian market town of Pershore, where guests can visit Pershore Abbey and educate themselves on its thousand-year history after having survived fires, storm, and earthquakes. The Tiddesley Wood Nature Reserve is located on the outskirts of the town – bring your wellies for a scenic trip through this ancient woodland, and see the beautiful blossomed wildflowers in spring, enjoyed by the abundance of butterflies the reserve is known for.

Food and drink

Norton Grange is a popular local pub a five-minute drive from the site, with a lovely beer garden and play area for the kids. Its menu includes a daily specials board, a selection of pub classics, and a carvery. The Potted Pantry in Evesham is recommended, a little hidden gem of a cafe and restaurant serving wholesome food in a warm and friendly setting. It also offers a daily selection of artisan bread and boasts an extensive kids' menu. The Royal Oak is a Grade II listed building that retains much of its old tavern charms, including the oak beams that make it difficult to miss on the Evesham high street. It boasts a seasonably inspired menu and a delicious Sunday roast, or it can simply be a cosy place to pop in for a pint or glass of wine while exploring the town.
