Oxford Glamping takes glamorous camping to the next level. Our sumptuous, self-contained accommodation has all the high-end features and lovely little extras you need for a truly romantic escape. In it's own secluded camp; exclusive setting, surrounded by nature, the site offers a chance to spend time in a wood-fired hot tub (building the fire is all part of the Glamping fun), read in a hammock under the trees, or watch a movie on the projector under the stars. Wrap up and relax by the firepit or cosy up in front of the log burner with a glass of wine or two.This self-contained dome has all the high-end features and lovely little extras you need for a truly romantic escape. Find yourself surrounded by nature with exclusive access to all facilities. Relax in the wood-fred hot tub (building the fire is all part of the Glamping fun), enjoy a book in the hammock or why not watch a film under the stars using the projector? Get toasty around the fire-pit, or feel cosy in front of the log burner with a glass of wine or hot chocolate. The dome is fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape. A comfortable king size bed, plenty of seating, an extensive range of board games, books, chess table and lots of space for some sunrise/sunset yoga. The main feature of the dome is the skylight and huge panoramic window where you can star gaze from the comfort of your own bed.

We were very disappointed with the outside areas of the grounds as they were not well maintained and don't match what has been advertised on the site. The hosts have said that the overgrown areas are in places not in use by the visitors however I would strongly disagree as the overgrown areas are inside the camp site itself along the path to the hot tub and in the general recreational areas. The wiring in stable area left a bit to be desired as all the lights were unstable and flickered constantly. The hosts have said that they will fix this since I've raised it with them. The amount of logs and tinder provided was very lacking and wouldn't be enough for a weekend stay. The hosts have said that these logs aren't included in the price however other glamping sites that we have been to have provided a substantial amount more logs and tinder which allow you to actually light fires for the weekend.

Dome

The location is great, there’s a pub less than 5 minutes walk away and you’re only 15 minutes from Oxford Park and ride. The dome is beautifully decorated and they’ve gone above on the extras. There’s lots of board games and a projector (Bring a laptop). Outside there’s table tennis and a couple of other outdoor games to add a bit of extra fun. Overall the location and camp itself is great.
