Penn Bergeyn are secluded and private shepherd's huts, one hut is the bedroom, the other is the kitchen and bathroom, linked by a covered walkway. During your stay, you have sole use of the woodfired hottub, hammock, various sitting areas and an outdoor kitchen. Penn Bergeyn is set in its own paddock surrounded by fields and woods with easy access to wonderful walks including one round walk taking you through woods, fields even an old railway line and 2 pubs! The easiest access is by car however, you can take the train to Exeter (8 miles) and get our local taxi firm to drop you off here. Private parking on site, electric charging pod available.Hidden in a little valley, Penn Bergeyn comprises of 2 hand crafted luxurious shepherd's huts. Whether you want to unwind in the wood heated hot tub, relax by the firepit or make your own pizzas, you can do it all here. Located in its own little paddock, the huts are fitted with a very comfortable king size bed and underfloor heating throughout. The outdoor kitchen contains a fire pit and a gas barbecue. But the best bit might be the wood heated hot tub - for you to decide! Both the bedroom hut and the living hut (kitchen, lounge and bathroom) are equipped with underfloor heating, making Penn Bergeyn the perfect all year round destination. There are 2 pubs within walking distance (under 2 miles) and Haldon Forest (10 minutes drive) is a great place for walks, bike rides, GoApe & Segway rides. Within 30 minutes, you can be in Exeter, on Dartmoor National Park or by the sea! Or you can stay here and enjoy the hottub & the outdoor kitchen. The whole paddock is yours to enjoy. It includes both huts (the bedroom hut and the kitchen & bathroom hut), as well as the hot tub and outdoor kitchen with firepit and barbecue. Both huts are yours for the duration of your stay, one being the kitchen and bathroom, the other being the bedroom. Please remember to bring your walking boots or wellies! There is a £20 extra charge for the 1st hot tub use, which is payable directly to the hosts. Thank you.
