Rooted in the Dowr Konor watershed and overlooking St Ives’ Bay in Kernow/Cornwall, Ro Dama invites you into our space for connection, regeneration and rewilding of ourselves, our communities, our culture & heritage and our land.
On site, we have a variety of pitch types, private, communal and camper van spots.
we have a couple of young pups on site who are being a bit territorial, we therefore advise that it is not suitable for dogs at this time.
A wonderful, special place. The spot was secluded and had a lovely view of the valley. I was incredibly charmed by the use of the farm land, hanging out with the animals (warning for people who don’t like geese) and learning about the different workshops and community gatherings they host here. Thank you everyone at Ro Dama for the hospitality, I felt very welcome. If I hadn’t come in the middle of January I would have extended my stay for a fair while longer.
Also the water was delicious.
There’s lots to love about this place… but some stuff to improve too.
The pitch is glorious - secluded and in a gorgeous permaculture valley. Just amazing.
The people were all lovely. I was there alone but felt completely welcome and safe.
The facilities, while eco, which is fab, are in need of some refinement. Shabby and a bit dirty. We had no power or water at one point because the solar power struggled in the cloudy weather. I also don’t think there was anywhere to do your washing up. Not that I could tell anyway so I took my washing up and rubbish to the next site.
It was unnecessarily difficult to get your car in and out of the gate. Which is not a big thing but was a challenge
But my my my what a completely fabulous pair of dogs that live there. If you are a dog lover you will leave besotted.
A wonderful spot really. And the place has fab people and a good ethos. Just needs some refinement.
It was great, very relaxing, super friendly people. It is bare bones but all you need. We were gifted some fresh broadbeans from the garden which were very tasty
A peaceful campsite with friendly people. The host was great and really helpful. The campsite is in its infancy but clearly has a vision, I’d like to see how it develops. I’d recommend staying there, just make sure you’re aware of the basic facilities.
Our first time here but definitely not the last one. We booked for 5 nights but extended as its absolutely a gem!
Simplicity and peace- this is what you will find here. It's more like semi wildcamp so defo not for everyone but brilliant for us as this is what we love most. Honestly if I could I'd stay here for life.
