Your own private space with cosy furnished Hobbit House with quirky features set in your own large private gardens. You have an outdoor sink and gas hob, campfire with grill and flushing loo. Showers are in the camping field. You have your own entrance to the garden. The house is approx 3x3m. We provide cutlery, cooking utensils and wood for the log burner and campfire. There is an electric socket in the house next to the bed suitable for charging purposes. Arrival 3pm and vacate by noon. The surrounding Somerset Levels aren’t just out in the sticks – they also produce them. Willow cane has been cultivated the traditional way in this part of the county for hundreds of years and can be seen growing within a mile of 5 Acres. The Levels are also a wildlife haven, making them an all-round top choice for country walks along the many trails nearby. And while this may be a rural retreat, it's also one that's easy to get to as it's just off the A378 (no winding country lanes to negotiate for this one…) Taunton town centre, with its wide range of shops and supermarkets, is a 15-minute drive away. The closest pub and coffee shop are five minutes away by road.Your own private space. The cosy furnished Hobbit House has quirky features, set in your own large mature private gardens. You have an outdoor sink and gas hob, campfire with grill and flushing loo. Showers are in the adjacent camping field. You have your own entrance to the garden so you can come and go as you wish. The Hobbit House is approx 3x3m with a 6mx4.5m covered cooking and dinning area. We provide bedding, cutlery, cooking utensils and wood for the log burner and campfire. There's an electric socket in the house next to the bed suitable for charging purposes. Please note that this space is not child friendly, so grownups only. Arrival 3pm and vacate by noon.

Such a peaceful place !

The Hobbit Hut is an absolutely amazing place to disconnect from all the craziness of the world . You have a rather large area all to yourself and all the needed amenities are provided ! Bring your own towels and everything else is taken care of ! The hosts are wonderful and warm welcoming folk that will greet you as soon as you’ve arrived on site and are available for all your needs throughout your stay . The hut itself is very cozy and unique ! The log burner will keep it nice and toasty inside on those cold nights and one of my favourite items was the flickering candle bulb adjacent to the bed . It gave a very nice vibe . All in all , very unique place to stay and we’ll definitely return !

Totally chilled, fire camp out.

What an absolute lovely little spot. Throughly enjoyed our two night stay. The undercover bit enables you to enjoy the space whatever the weather! And we had some weather. But sat cozy with a fire and blankets, drinking wine and reading was just the ticket. No signal or WiFi for the totally unplugged experience. Amazing little secret garden too… we wondered around there a couple times each day! Great circular walk across fields and droves to the pub. Throughly recommend.

A magical place ✨️

With pets

Such an amazing place, it was exactly what I needed in a last minute getaway. The cabin is tucked away in a separate garden and has everything you need for a truly magical stay to disconnect from the rat-race! I can't recommend this place enough and Theo was a lovely host making me, and the pooch, feel at home straight away. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for having us!
