Caceres Organic Blueberry & Turmeric Farms is nestled in the heart of the Suwannee River Water Basin, home to some some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the world. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 500 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living.  We have cleared tent camping lots for Hip Campers in front of the on-property lake with easy access to swimming and fishing. There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided.  A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally.  We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers.  There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away. The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Scalloping season begins June 15 this year and runs to September. Oyster season lasts all winter. The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is 50 miles away and hosts several large music festivals from Spring to Fall including Hullaween on October 23-25. Site 1 - Caceres Organic Blueberry Farms
Highly Recommend
Terrific -- quiet, private, comfortable site (Site 1, but all sites seemed the same). I was in town for a few days tent camping -- this spot was perfect. Highly recommend .

Great experience.
We had an amazing experience while staying at Richard’s Land. When we were there he was out of town but we were still taken care of. We did buy wood on the app and it wasnt delivered until we were leaving but I’ll just take it as a fluke he wasn’t in town. It was such a great experience I don’t even want a refund for the wood. Beautiful property really well located. Just know if you’re a hammock hanger there is nowhere to hang your own hammock. The solar showers are awesome!!

Site 2 - Caceres Organic Blueberry Farms
7 of us stayed on Richard’s farm for 3 days. I was a girl scout for half my life, earned my Bronze, Silver & Gold award. I’ve camped all over northeast Florida and this was the worst camping experience I’ve ever had. There is now a rope going through the pond to mark the property line. The owner of the campground owns less than 50% of the pond. In the description of the campground it states, “We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) available to Hip Campers.” We were later told that we were not allowed to touch the blueberries. We were told we could buy some but they were sold out until the following day, the day of our departure. Owner’s dog will never leave, he basically sits under you while you’re eating. Site owner’s neighbor should be mentioned on arrival. At night, a few of our kids went to look at the water and shined their flashlights on the other side of the pond. The neighbor shot off a gun as a warning to not come on his property, obviously scaring the kids. A gun going off near you at night would scare anybody. Later that night we were accused by the owner of trespassing on his neighbors property and picking mushrooms in his field. In actuality, we had never left our designated area (campsite and pond area). We drove 2 hours to camp on a farm and eat blueberries, trespassing was not in our itinerary. Overall, we felt like a nuisance. There were several things that should have been disclosed.

Site 3 - Caceres Organic Blueberry Farms
We had a great time at the Organic Blueberry farm. I think our dog Vader had the best time, he made a friend and there was plenty of room to throw his ball. Nice fire pit and picnic table at the campsite.

Site 4 - Caceres Organic Blueberry Farms
This is a lovely place to camp. Richard stopped by when we arrived to tell us about the camp site features, like the showers, eater, etc. It's a beautiful and peaceful farm to relax at and the sites were very nice.
