Camp Declan is many things rolled into one. First, it is a private six-acre hardwood forest with 400’ of shoreline on a fresh-water, all-purpose lake. The air is clean and fresh and the fish, birds and Florida wildlife teem around you. Second, are the three buildings Cabin, Cabana and Bunkhouse. Each has a bathroom and the Cabin and Bunkhouse accommodate 18 overnight guests comfortably. The Cabana serves as outdoor bar/kitchen and hangout. Larger groups can be accommodated with a little ingenuity, too. Third, the layout of the property is such that the lake and large floating dock are always the star of the show. Whether you’re playing volleyball, badminton or horse shoes, sitting around the fire pit or canoeing on the lake, the sum of its parts makes a wonderful private indoor/outdoor lodging and recreation space for fishing, swimming, boating and grilling. Awesome Stay.
This is an amazing place. It had everything we were expecting and so much more. Had fun canoeing, fishing, and just spending time with each other. We are already starting to plan for the next time we can go there. Arrival was easy. All my questions were answered in a timely manner. You won’t find a better place for a small group of men.

Great place to disconnect!
Loved our stay, it was a great disconnect from the city and amazing to watch the kids get back to nature. House needs a little TLC but that’s to be expected in the country but we had so much fun fishing, kayaking, playing volleyball and hanging out by the fire at night. Best part was that the kids were outside all day away from their phones enjoying the activities. Would definitely recommend for a family or group outing.

Loved Camp Declan! Lots of activities to do. Great kitchen and outdoor smoker. We caught and released about a dozen bass in the two days we were there. First time bass fishing. We will be back!

Did I mention it was Great?
Great spot for a group. Celebrated with 14 people. Outdoor kitchen was great. Main house and bunk house were great. Owner was super helpful and responsive. The lake is right there. Caught catfish and bass right off the dock with minnows from a bait shop 5 minutes away. It was great!

Camp Declan was a fabulous place for our family get together. There was so much to do. My family loved sitting by the fire and playing in the lake. The house and bunkhouse were comfortable, but there was also plenty of room to pitch a tent for people that wanted more privacy. The ice maker was especially helpful for keeping our ice chests full. Declan has really thought of everything!
