Lakeside RV site
We are new campers, booking sites close to home as trial runs. This was our first time using Hipcamp and it definitely won’t be our last especially at this campsite. Laura was a phenomenal host! She met us at checkin to give a quick introduction, although we had to reach out when plugging in because I didn’t see that it was a 50 amp hook up…. Laura saved the day with bringing down an adapter and from then on we had total privacy on this beautiful piece of paradise. Our original reservation was for two days, but we were enjoying ourselves so much that we extended two more days and still did not want to go home! We were looking for rest and relaxation and that’s exactly what we got here at Lakeside plus a beautiful rain storm coming across the lake, kayaks were available, our 3 pups spent much time enjoying the water, and several Walmart runs were made which is only 7 miles away. We’re excited to know there is such a perfect spot for us to camp so close to home, already planning our next trip!

Lakeside RV site
Nothing more relaxing
This was our third time at the Lakeside RV site. Nothing more relaxing than a weekend at the lake. Laura is a wonderful host and the site is immaculately maintained. We'll be back again soon.

Magical!
MAGICAL!!!! We simply Loved Staying at this lakeside space! Very peaceful, lots of wild life, daily visits from Deer, chickens, ducks and bats! Laura was extremely nice, great vibe! We stayed for 10 days and came back stretched. Just awesome! Highly recommend if you need a real therapeutic break.

Loved our stay here! Felt so secluded and private and was able to easily park our 30 ft travel trailer. Great for kids and our dogs and watching the boats go by. Will definitely be back again!
