Authentic old Florida homestead. Beautiful Spanish moss veiled Grandfather Oak trees, rolling subtle grassy hills and Cypress filled wetlands with an abundant of bird life every day. We raise Nigerian Dairy goats and always have time for goat visits and petting. Our horses are boarded at night and roam freely during the day along with our donkeys. Hiking our land and marked trails, gives you the feeling of serenity and back to nature, clearing your mind so you can remember what nature is all about. Just minutes away are amazing places and parks like the Withlacoochee State park, Hog Island and the Withlacoochee river, where kayaking is a must. Peace and quiet and privacy as you tent, stay in one of our RV's or bring your own. Be part of our AGRITOURISM VENUE and take part in the RANCH EXPERIENCE, a guided visit to meet and pet our livestock, from baby goats to miniature horses! Get to pet one of our over 80 goats and check out our twin turkeys and many chickens.... Pigs are just begging to be scratched as well!!! ENJOY!

Stay at the campsite was wonderful. We had more space than any camp site with ever stayed at. The adminities provided by the host were exceptional.

First and foremost Mike and Rob are some of the kindest, most helpful people I’ve met!. Upon arrival they checked in on us to see if we needed help with the RV, they offered a tour of their farm to us on Friday (normally only do it on Saturdays) because our grandson was going to be there. We stayed here a year ago and since then they’ve made some very nice up grades to include a both on with a changing table and propane grills at the sight. The only downside is we had only booked 2 nights and could have stayed much longer but for some reason God opted to not make me a millionaire so off to work I go 🤣

Live Oak Hammock

This hip camp is simply amazing! We have stayed at many, but this one rates right up at the top. Our camping spot was clean, private, and located near brand new beautiful bathrooms equipped with showers. They even provide towels! It also has an outdoor kitchen equipped with a Keurig coffeemaker. You are secluded within their fenced 60-acre ranch where the donkeys and horses roam free, and come right up to your campsite to visit. The owners Rob & Mike took us for a complete farm tour where we saw and petted over 100 animals that they care for. These guys go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy and enjoying all the amenities they offer. They even provide a starter kit of firewood and you can purchase more on-site if you want! We loved every bit of our experience there, and would welcome going back again!

Magnolia Hill tent

Overall, we had a good time. Mike and Rob are attentive and accommodating hosts with a beautiful property. We loved the showers, coffee set up, and the dish washing station. Witnessing the free roaming horses and donkeys was super cool and unique for a few minutes but once they start picking up and knocking over your gear it becomes a bit stressful. The hosts warned us this could happen once we arrived but at that point, what do you do? When this became a problem with the horses, I let the hosts know and they promptly came by our site and escorted the horses away. When the donkeys showed up and then became a problem, I was able to clap and scare them away. This aspect kept us slightly on edge as tent campers. Our site unfortunately didn’t have any shade but luckily we had brought a shelter. Our dog loved running in the field and the lack of light pollution made the night sky breathtaking. We wouldn’t personally stay again because of the unpredictability of the animals but Mike and Rob otherwise have a great thing going here.

Very relaxing

Such a relaxing time at Lucky U Ranch!!! Rob and Mike were very friendly and welcoming. The property was very beautiful with great amenities. Showers were nice and so was the restroom super clean and also the community pavilion. Definitely enjoyed my stay and will be back again.
