This was my families first camping trip together and we LOVED this place. It was quiet and beautiful and had a private doc to enjoy some fishing everyday or just sit and look at the scenery. I would recommend this place to anyone I know!!!! My boys didn't want to leave

Not very private
Tent · With kids ·
We were expecting something a lot more private with a name like private escape. Overall, we still had a nice time. The ports-potty was clean, which we appreciated. The dock is across the street, it’s nice that it has seating. We didn’t catch anything or see any activity when we tried fishing. It might have been the weather or that the vegetation was overgrown. We could hear the racetrack nearby at night. We didn’t mind it but it’s something to note. The other camp sites were closer than we’d thought they’d be. We could easily hear our neighbors conversations. The property was well maintained with big trees that provided shade but we will not be returning.

This was my husband and I’s first time camping with our new trailer and we had such a great experience here! Paul was an excellent host and was very welcoming to our 2 dogs. Highly recommend this camp for anyone with dogs!! We caught some really beautiful sunrises and sunsets at the lake across the street and had fun kayaking in the morning. We also took a day trip to blue springs which was very beautiful and worth the short drive.

Our stay with Paul
Tent · Group trip ·
I really enjoyed camping at Paul’s campsites. My girlfriend, some friends, and I stayed there for two nights and we had a great time. The area is nice and open for our dogs to run around on a long leash and plenty area for whatever game we want to play. The pier was beautiful and next time we will definitely bring our kayak and fishing poles to enjoy the lake more. The only thing was that the neighbors really enjoy hanging outside with the music really loud until around 1-2am. Other than that we had no problems and we would totally go back again.

We really loved camping at Paul’s place. A nice quiet hideaway, with great views. And right next to a beautiful lake with amazing views. Paul was a great host!
