Borders Oleno State Park. Close proximity to several rivers and springs, hiking trails. Abundant deer, owls and turkeys. Several great places to rent kayaks and/or canoes. Nearby antique stores and crystal shop. Thirty minutes from the University of Florida's Museum of Natural History and Butterfly Rainforest. Private cottage approximately 450 square feet with kitchenette, queen size bed and full bathroom. Fire pit available off of front porch. Mini split system for heat and air. We are pet friendly, but the renter has responsibilities for their pet. Fenced area for pet. Pet must be in the fenced area or on a leash at all times. This is a VERY quiet are, so we can not have any excessive barking. Pet may not be left alone in the cottage without being crated. This is a non-smoking cottage. Any evidence of smoking will result in a damage fee of $200.

Deer at dusk and dear hosts

Quartermoon Acres Cottage

Patricia and John are our favorite Hipcamp hosts, attentive and friendly and immaculate with their adorable cottage in an off-the-beaten-path area that we love. This was our second visit and we definitely hope to be back.

Site 1 - Quartermoon Acres RV Sites

Very Peaceful ✌️ Host was very nice. They have a beautiful place for an Rv which is nice. We got cut short the weekend on account of bad weather. Would stay here again as it's close to launching for going down the Santa Fe The Host Patricia & her Husband are Great people.

Site 2 - Quartermoon Acres RV Sites

Our stay was wonderful! Patricia and her husband are very welcoming. Their campspot is very nice with views of the woods, Oleno State Park, and deer!! It is also very quiet. You will rest well. They have chickens and sold us eggs, too; that was a nice bonus. Florida State Parks are hard to get reservations and that is why we choose hippcamping and this did not dissapoint

Quartermoon Acres Cottage

Great stay! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again. Excellent communication, and we’re willing to work with us on a later check in. Property is great! Lots of deer in the area, and a cat made us feel at home while we sat on the porch!
