Great site! Loved it. Private tent camping site was the best. Will go back.

What a beautiful, secluded campsite! Very private and quiet. Hilary gave great directions, it was easy to find. I would stay here again.

Always Great Smokey Acres
It's the closest to where you can park site out of 5,6,7. Not far at all to walk to the bathroom/showers. Just a pointer 6 is the farthest from the parking

Smokey Acres Primitive Camp Site 3
It was alright!
Overall, camping went well here, although this isn’t a place I would want to camp again at! It wasn’t that there were necessarily things wrong with the site; I mean I loved that they provided you with bins and the site was clean, but there was nothing particularly special about this site in my opinion. It was just kinda alright.
I didn’t realize that the campsites were so close to others. The people who reserved the place right next to us came in at 12am the first night we were there, which was a little difficult to sleep through. I know they were trying to be quiet but when you’re in a tent, you hear every little thing. There were also some issues with the drain in the bathroom sink, so the water wasn’t going down. My husband and I did really like the fact that there was an amazing coffee shop 3 min away called Mountaineer Coffee and that made it worth it for us!
