The site was pretty good. Nice and flat. Power hook up as described. The address, when I clicked on it from the app, took me to a random location a few miles down the road near a bunch of bail bond businesses. I tried to reach out to the host but no response. In his defense it was late, it was around 10pm. However I never got a response in general even the next day. So if the host could be a little more responsive it would have made the experience I bit better. But we’ll definitely be back.
We stayed here while attending the Daytona 500. We had out converted Cargo Trailer. The location was perfect for us. The site is a combination of modern and primitive. We had 30 amp service so we could have power. Bring your own water and a composting toilet. There a small pond and wildlife around. If you interested in quiet, but convenient, this is a great place to stay. We’re planning on returning next year.
We really enjoyed our stay at the camps at tiger bay! It has large sites with a nice pond and even an outdoor shower. It was fun to watch the turkeys visit the site. Kenny was a great host and we can’t wait to return! The site is in the perfect location to stay for a trip to the Daytona international speedway. It is also great to be so close to the tiger bay state forest!
My husband and I drove from NJ to FL overnight/through the next day to pick up our new small square drop camper. We found Kenny's land on hip camp because it was convenient along our route home and we thought the location up against the tiger bay forest was interesting. The location was absolutely beautiful, great for our first camp in our new nobo. Would definitely recommend!!
