The worst Hipcamp I have ever experienced. Be advised that the owner keeps a class A and a van out on the property. The area states that it is two acres. Thus may be true, but the only space that is clear, is about 50 ft deep and about 120 feet wide. There was a travel trailer and the occupants vehicle. Our 37 foot class A fit at an angle. Once we pulled in our vehicle and moved it for the owner's wife's car, it was a parking lot. There is no where to sit outside. Although, we didn't set foot outside, our dog came in covered with fleas, after walking him outside to go to the bathroom. We watched fleas jump on him AND on us while we sprayed him in the yard. After bombing our RV twice, bathing and spraying the dog numerous times, we finally got rid of them. Only cost us a hundred bucks or so. I expressed all of thus to the owner. His response " I'm sorry you're having trouble." 😑
We touched it out. Went to a music festival and cleaned the entire time we were there. We're pretty easy, but this situation was ridiculous. They have six foot fences and barbed wire, AND 24/7 surveillance cameras. This suggests to me (along time city girl) that this isn't a real safe setting either. And obviously, the owner knows this.
Almost forgot, in order to get to this spot you spend the longest 2-3 miles on the worst, washed out excuse for a road, that I've ever been sent down. I see this as a complete disregard for my property.
