You should not have a problem getting down this road I drove my 38 ft Class A down this road multiple times.

Very nice, quiet, secure place, definitely for anyone with pets or children, perfect little fire pit with a few little trails, great neighborhood lots of wildlife around, beautiful fishing pond not far, within walking distance, owners of the property were prompt to answer all of my questions very nice people

Mixed feelings

30 ft Class C
Very intrusive and not private at all. Water is horrible and not suitable for my dog Owner keeps creeping around my camper while im at work looking for dog droppings just to threaten to kick me out over it. The wifi is hit or miss and the power cuts out every rainstorm or shower. But for the price I guess you can't expect much.

Clean, Quiet, and Well-Maintained
21 ft travel trailer
I enjoyed every part of my stay over at The Resting Place. It was clean, quiet, and well maintained. Eli is a very helpful host and never left messages unattended to for very long. I enjoyed the scenery as well as the security of having a locked privacy fence. I found this spot perfect for my reactive dog, because there were not many external stressors he had to deal with. It’s far enough away to feel secluded but close enough to everything there is to do in Punta Gorda as well. I will definitely consider staying again when I am in the area!

DON'T DO IT
37 ft Class A
The worst Hipcamp I have ever experienced. Be advised that the owner keeps a class A and a van out on the property. The area states that it is two acres. Thus may be true, but the only space that is clear, is about 50 ft deep and about 120 feet wide. There was a travel trailer and the occupants vehicle. Our 37 foot class A fit at an angle. Once we pulled in our vehicle and moved it for the owner's wife's car, it was a parking lot. There is no where to sit outside. Although, we didn't set foot outside, our dog came in covered with fleas, after walking him outside to go to the bathroom. We watched fleas jump on him AND on us while we sprayed him in the yard. After bombing our RV twice, bathing and spraying the dog numerous times, we finally got rid of them. Only cost us a hundred bucks or so. I expressed all of thus to the owner. His response " I'm sorry you're having trouble." 😑 We touched it out. Went to a music festival and cleaned the entire time we were there. We're pretty easy, but this situation was ridiculous. They have six foot fences and barbed wire, AND 24/7 surveillance cameras. This suggests to me (along time city girl) that this isn't a real safe setting either. And obviously, the owner knows this. Almost forgot, in order to get to this spot you spend the longest 2-3 miles on the worst, washed out excuse for a road, that I've ever been sent down. I see this as a complete disregard for my property.
