Located just 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon, this hideaway is nestled into a cozy neighborhood under twin oaks and a mango tree. A taste of the “old Florida,” this neighborhood has untouched biodiversity complete with lots of yummy fruit trees, 100 year old buildings, and an artesian well (which your hosts have turned into a glorious, 70 degree bath tub). Hang your hammocks, lay out in the sun or moonlight, take a walk under the stars as the neighbor owls hoot, light an open fire and stay tucked away somewhere so close to the world, yet seemingly so remote. Cruise over to the beach for a surf lesson or to the river for a paddle boarding adventure (lessons and/or board rentals available). For RV and Van life folks we’ve got a 30 amp power plug (requires an extension cord) and city water hook up (BYO hose). Bring your furry friends. Our yard is not fenced so we ask that unless you have your own fence, you keep them on a leash and out of the garden! For a fee we will allow dumping in our septic tank *ask about availability and accessibility*. We offer a complete camp site, without the hassle of nosy RV neighbors. The Home on the property is an old concrete block Florida beauty built in the 40s, used by your hosts as the perfect sanctuary for yoga and massage. Sophia (your host) is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and owns Sophlow Yoga, a Local Yoga Studio and Surf School. She loves gardening, and has a complete apothecary of herbs, salves and tinctures for your daily needs. Both she and her boyfriend are Native Floridians, and are more than happy to share local knowledge of their home town of Wabasso Beach. Marshall (your other host & Sophia’s other half) is an avid waterman. He is a Sailboat Captain, happy to take you cruising on the open sea or fishing for local catch, as well as a Master Carpenter with experience in plumbing, electric and mechanical handy work. He specializes in renovating small spaces such as sailboats and RVs with his attention to detail and meticulous woodwork, so you can leave not only rejuvenated, but renovated! Both of your hosts hope to give you the vacation experience of your dreams, and will support with any services they can, or by simply leaving you in peace.Set up underneath the twin oaks and mango tree. Located a 5 minute drive from Wabasso beach, and within walking distance of the Indian River Lagoon. With a 30 amp power plug and city water hook ups, an artesian well sulfur spa, you will enjoy a camping experience, with the added benefits of amenities. You'll begin your tour in our "infant" food forest, tasting some delicious perennials and learning the bones of stacking functions and bringing back biodiversity. Our tour "branches" off into an oasis of mature fruit trees, reaches into the thickets of the Florida jungle, roots into the marsh, and exits through the bamboo forest.

If you are looking for a chill vibe with old Florida charm and convenient access to the lagoon (a 5 minutes walk) or the beach (a 5 minutes drive) this is the place for you😃🚣‍♂️🌊. Sophia is very easy going and fun to be around. Her and her partner, Marshal, know all the best surfing and fishing spots. Just ask.

Camping for Surfers

Sophia is a lovely host, Twin Oaks has a cool surf vibe. Sophia hooked me up with electricity and water so I could plug my van in for power and fill the water tanks. location is perfect if you are visiting the Sebastian Inlet area. Tiki Bar a few minutes away! Sophia teaches surfing, yoga and has a small massage studio on the property so you can book a massage after your surf session! It’s a perfect Hip Camp if you’re looking to park your van for a night or two very close to the beach. They just started hosting campers, but it will just get better over time.
