Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
There are 3 treehouses present on these 5 acres of land tucked into the National Forest. A stream runs past 2 of the treehouses down to a pasture with a small assortment of animals. The property includes friendly, free roaming, outdoor cats that will likely keep you company during your stay. Do note there are dogs at the main cabin. While on your glamping trip, there are several places nearby to hiking, fishing, swimming, and if you're brave enough, even biking the ups and downs of the mountain roads. Parking, as well as a bathroom with running water and electricity, are at the main cabin, which is a short walk from the treehouse.Firefly Bend Treehouse was built on the side of a hill in a bend of the creek. The treehouse is completely secluded and sits on 5 acres with 2 other treehouses and main cabin. ✔️Heated Mattress Pad-Queen Size Bed ✔️Comforts of Home but your bed can also roll outside under the stars ✔️Outdoor Cook shack with Kitchen Supplies ✔️Indoor Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker ✔️WiFi at Main Cabin ✔️Enjoy Sounds of Nature from the Bed or Deck ✔️Outdoor Firepit ✔️Two Paddle fans ✔️Hike into National Forest from Treehouse Firefly Bend Treehouse is nestled on a hillside near a creek on the Hemlock Farm, where a small passel of animals (including cats and dogs) and the main family reside in a log cabin. Again, please note, there are animals on the property. This private treehouse has a view of the creek and waterfall, and is a short walk to the bathroom, where running water and electricity can be found. The rear of the property provides access to the national forest for hiking in a serene and rarely used portion of the mountains. **About Glamping** Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. It's like regular camping , but with nicer things than usual, being warmer, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains. Treehouses are glamping experiences and as such here’s what you can expect: A comfy bed, k-cup coffee brewers, microwave, outdoor kitchen, heated mattress pads, radiator heaters, real furniture - dresser, beds, chairs and electricity. You should probably avoid treehouses if you….. 1. Don’t enjoy temps outside the range you would keep for your home. 2. If you don’t like walking back to the woods to reach and enjoy your treehouse. 3. Don’t want to walk to the main cabin to use a flushing toilet and or take a shower. 4. If the idea that the treehouses are not completely sealed and you may occasionally see a critter trying to move in, although we do try and keep them out, upsets you. If you enjoy the woods, nature, and/or being away from city noise, then you may just enjoy a stay in one of our treehouses. However, we cannot allow children, so please ensure your party of 1 or 2 is limited to those 18 and older. The treehouse features an outdoor kitchen so you can cook. The kitchen is equipped with cutting board, knife set, utensils, wash basin, 7 gallon drum of water, dish soap, sponge. You will want to reach out and ask for the utensils and pans so we can have them ready for you. In addition to the kitchen, the firepit has a grate on it, allowing you to use charcoal or wood to grill. There is a camp toilet for quick night runs. The showering facilities and parking area are a short walk away. There is not running water in the treehouse. This property is a haven for a group of cats, two of which have Feline Leukemia. The cats roam the property freely and like to frequently visit treehouse guests for affection. If this is unappealing to you, please reach out to us for other recommendations. UC License #: 031590

Even better than glamping
Loved this spot in Suches! It is really out there but close to the Appalachian trial and tons of other hiking and close enough to the cute town of Dahlonega if you want good food or need a Walmart. The treehouse was even more amazing than I imagined! The hot tub was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and all the necessities were provided for. We stayed in March with highs of 70 and lows of 40 but we stayed super cozy inside. Didn’t even use the heated blanket, but did turn on the space heater. We cooked over the fire with pots, pans, and firewood provided. We only really saw one cat the whole time and she was super sweet. The dogs bark when you pull up or go into the main house - where you can get a shower and use a flush toilet - but they did not bother us otherwise. Highly recommend this spot for off grid time listening to the babbling brook, sleeping under the stars, and relaxing.

Cheerful Cozy Cabin
We loved the cozy cabin with the sound of the bubbling creek near. I was a cold night but the electric blanket kept us perfectly warm. Everything was very tidy and clean. With so may extras provided glamping was a breeze. The direction and instructions were excellently detailed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the treehouse this past weekend. It is so cute and cozy inside, perfect for a couple. The bed was awesome, and being able to open the giant window doors and be under the trees. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and the sweet animals on the property were really nice to have around. We will definitely be booking again, this place was the perfect getaway for a quick weekend trip!

Overall we had a great experience from our own doings. It’s not private. You’re close to other campsites and one of them if you’re staying at their other campsite you can actually see directly in the cabin. When we got there they did not mention any pets being on the property, especially how much that were there. If I did I wouldn’t have booked based off of that. They have a bunch of dogs and cats. Some caged some are not. One cat bites and scratch (grey cat) you’ll see that one the most. The dogs bark continuously when you’re near they barely have them inside. When I first reached to Joni it took three days for them to respond and it was important because it was regarding the condition of the campsite from the hurricane that just passed and they have a very strict cancellation policy. During our trip we noticed the treehouse wasn’t clean. The floor wasn’t swept. It was very dusty and in the main cabin guest bathroom was pretty dirty a lot of bugs on the ceilings and in the shower. I have photos to prove it but unfortunately I’m unable to post it. The first night was very hot they have two ceiling fans but only on will they turn on for you. When we asked someone on the property she said someone will come out during our stay and no one did. I messaged Joni and she didn’t provide a fan nor have someone come out. I went to the office to get additional pots and pans and it was dirty and had a roach in it. I loved Suches just not campsite.

Immerse yourself in the woods
Loved the privacy of this remote escape. We reconnected with nature at the Firefly treehouse and loved the babbling brook just down the hill.
