Originally a plywood retreat cabin built before tiny homes made it big, this serene space has been freshly renovated in 2022 to include all the comforts of home, with impeccable design both inside and out. Fall asleep to the murmur of crickets and wake up to birdsong – you’ll feel like you’re deep in the mountains, but Small House is a convenient 40 minutes from Atlanta, 50 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson international airport, and a straight shot 20 minutes south of I-20.Originally a plywood retreat cabin built before tiny homes made it big, this serene space has been freshly renovated in 2022 to include all the comforts of home, with impeccable design both inside and out. Unlike many tiny homes, Small House has no ladders, tight spaces, or low-overhead sleeping areas. Instead, the high ceiling, warm white paint, and expansive window make Small House feel pretty big!
The deck is just as roomy, with two hammock chairs, an outdoor dining table, and vintage spun fiberglass chaises. We provide two oscillating fans for your comfort on the deck, as well as a powerful ceiling fan and top-line air conditioning indoors. (We renovated Small House through June and July in Georgia, so we can vouch for that AC!)
This is your opportunity to experience tiny home living without feeling cramped, cooped up, or claustrophobic.
The kitchenette includes a refrigerator and freezer; combination microwave, air fryer, and convection oven; an electric kettle with pour-over coffee maker; and an induction burner. We provide Brita-filtered water and cooking essentials, and our high-speed wifi and bluetooth smart speaker are ready to stream your favorite shows and music.
Small House sits on a large land trust shared with other homeowners. Please do not wander during your stay, as you may end up on other people's private properties.
Please don't book our space if you are uncomfortable in dark or remote areas. Also keep in mind that – as with any rural space – wildlife lives here too. For your comfort, we suggest you wear bug spray during warm months and take a thorough shower after being in the woods. Keep your eyes peeled for creatures underfoot outdoors. Check your shoes before putting them on.
Please no photoshoots, filming, or events, without prior written permission. However, if you want to do any of these things, please let us know, and we will be as accommodating as possible.
