Good camp
Pretty chill spot to set up camp or for your car/RV. I arrived late at night so it was a little tricky to find as you loose cell service once you’re off the main road but with Williams instructions it was easy to find even without maps. I recommend if you just need a spot to sleep overnight. There is a Porta potty and a make shift shower but I didn’t check them out. Overall quiet secluded camp off the main road. Deff would stay again.

Maui camping
Very clean Porta potty! We camp alot so I know Porta potties! 😆 His written directions in the email made it very easy to find. However campsites not marked well so we just chose a spot on the right side of the small meadow hoping there wouldn't be to many other campers! Only one shady spot that a camper van already had so that also made it hot place to camp.

Bare/minimalist campsite. Porta potty was clean. Shower was a hose but setting as per pictures. Good location for road to Hana and Haleakala Crater. We were the only campers on site but could be crowded if up to 5 camp sites were booked as per the listing.

Great spot!
The spot was exactly as described and quite private.
The camp spot is quite hard to find. I'm going to contact William privately so that he can hopefully update the directions to be more accurate, but in the meantime, go off the GPS directions instead of the written directions and look for a GREEN [not pink] spray-painted post and bamboo privacy fencing next to a locked gate.
Finally, in typical low-land Hawaiian jungle fashion, expect lots of mosquitos and prepare adequately :)
