Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Indulge in a glamorous camping experience on the north shore of Oahu in your private bungalow. Enjoy the convenience of a kitchenette situated in a covered lanai (patio), complemented by a detached bathroom. Whale watch directly from the comfort of your bed and stargaze at night, reveling in the tranquility of the surroundings. Immerse yourself in a plethora of outdoor activities such as great hikes, pristine beaches, surfing, swimming, fishing, rock climbing, and even horseback riding—all within close proximity. Nestled in the countryside of North Shore, our location is far removed from the city lights, providing a perfect escape. Ever witnessed a moonbow? Now's your chance. Experience this enchanting phenomenon at our unique North Shore property. The bungalow is at a discounted rate during the winter due to swells. Keep in mind North Shore of Oahu is known for large waves in the winter. If there happens to be big surf, it can sometimes cause loud splashing during high tide and if high tide is at night, some light sleepers might not enjoy it. We do provide ear plugs if there are large swells. Our best season is in the summer when the ocean is calm and weather is sunny and dry.Enjoy your stay in your own cozy little bungalow. Enjoy the oceanfront deck and whale watch or fish. Lounge in our covered lanai with a cute kitchenette. Walk or drive to nearby beaches, hikes, rock climbing, horseback riding, sky diving, etc. Stargaze at night and more.

This was an absolutely incredible stay! I’ve never been able to sleep SO close to the ocean. We loved the ocean sounds, the morning coffee on the water, and the amazing stargazing at night. Location was also awesome for what we like - exploring the outdoors. We loved Mokuleia Army Beach and Ka’ena Point Trail.

Don’t miss this stay!
This was the most incredible stay! The views are unbelievable, and the sound of crashing waves was lovely ambiance during the day/night. The amenities were top notch for Hipcamp, with a private bathroom on the property, towels, warm water, and a small kitchen with the essentials. Kimzie was also such a lovely host. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay if you love the ocean. It’s such a cool little spot. Room is obviously very small but has power points, lights and fan that’s all you need. They provided ear plugs that’s a bonus but I loved the ocean over night. It’s also a great place to star gaze. Simple but amazing!

This place was great! The view was amazing and the sound of the waves put us right to sleep. Location on the island was also a plus, very quiet, but close to a little town to get food and such.

Sleeping in a bungalow next to the ocean was certainly an incredible experience! We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like binoculars and access to clean towels and the like. Kimzie was a very communicative and welcoming host. As others have mentioned you do have to be comfortable with bugs (think backyard glamping) and a simple, small space. It was a very convenient location and great space to lay our heads for a few nights while exploring North Shore.

Fantastic time at the edge of the ocean! Great spot just 10 minutes from Haleiwa, and under that to Ka’ena Point trailhead. Kim was very responsive. We loved staying here!
