Great place
Beautiful place to stay. Peaceful and great view. Showers worked well. Bathrooms a little ways from this site, but not bad.

The Hideaway
Great Experience at the Hideaway!
First time reserving this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Loved the Hideaway spot to camp in our SUV! Nice, quiet, private area to see beautiful views of the mountains & greenery; but still close enough to walk to the amenities - toilets, showers, & community kitchen. There were a couple of helicopters that flew overhead a few times & a Judo training area on the property but the noise was hardly noticeable from our area. Mosquitoes were kept at bay with a Thermacell, mosquito net for the trunk of our SUV, & a couple of mosquito repellant bracelets. Beach is about a 15-20 minute walk from the campsite where you walk pass a private ranch on the way. Made friends with fellow campers who stayed at the Great Lawn & the Kaho'olawe cabin over this past weekend. There are a couple of cabins, several yurts, & other campsites with shelters on this amazing property! Since we stayed till Monday morning, we were mainly the only ones on the campsites so we brought our camping chairs to the Great Lawn to sit & enjoy the beautiful, dark, starry sky for a few moments. What a wonderful camping experience! We will definitely be back again!

The Rootz Wagon
We really enjoyed our time on the Rootz wagon. Our host was responsive and helpful. The campsite was very serene and peaceful. Lots to do around the campsite - we hit up a bunch of beaches, hiked Hauula Loop Trail, and enjoyed resting at the campsite during our off time. My kids loved pretending to drive the bus.
