Serene space with animals
Beautiful spot under shade trees. Very quiet and green. You can hang out with the alpacas if you like. Janece and Derek are very nice. The directions are clear and easy to follow. I will definitely stay here every time I am in the area.

We loved car camping at Janece’s land! She was really great at communicating and she came out to greet us when we arrived. We had access to a fire pit chimney, port-a-potty, and a picnic table. It was really simple to get there. We loved seeing the animals and we got to pet some of the dogs! Would love to come again.

It was a beautiful area with a peaceful setting, but we never met the host or got to interact with the alpacas. The WiFi wasn’t working and the extra plug in we paid for wasn’t provided. Also of note the communal fire pit that’s touted never happened, but to be fair I wouldn’t offer that outside my house every night of the week!

We enjoyed our stay. The animals were fun. Offering electrical hookups would be a great addition. Thanks for the hospitality!

Windbreak Valentine Campsite
The hosts were very kind and friendly people, and the location of the farm was in a beautiful part of the countryside on an easily accessible road. However, it wasn't particularly clear from the listing that the campsite was just a grassy side section of the front yard. While it was not a bad camping experience by any means, it was a little jarring the lack of privacy in being on somebody's lawn. The animals were a big plus, however, as they were quite friendly.
