Cottage in the woods
We have not found another place like this to make our extended family of 19 happy & engaged. The kids loved the pond for swimming, fishing, and canoeing, the woods for exploring & creek walking, and the campfires! And Grandma & Grandpa loved the air-conditioned cabin for rest & gathering for suppers. Matt & Deb accommodated our requests & are so friendly & laid back. The perfect hosts! This was our second year, & now it’s a tradition. 😃

Absolutely!
My daughter and I recently spent a weekend at Bear Creek Camp, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer size of the campsite. It felt like we had stepped into a vast, natural playground, perfect for exploring and making memories.
The camp offers a wide range of amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus when camping. We appreciated the convenience of having these facilities close by, especially after a long day of hiking and outdoor activities.
The highlight of our trip was the quality time we spent together. We enjoyed hiking through the scenic trails, spotting wildlife, and even trying our hand at some fishing. The camp’s layout is spacious, allowing for plenty of room to roam and discover new areas. My daughter loved the freedom to explore, and I cherished the moments of laughter and bonding we shared.
Overall, Bear Creek Camp exceeded our expectations. The combination of its expansive grounds, excellent amenities, and the joy of spending time with my daughter made it a trip to remember. We can’t wait to visit again and create even more wonderful memories.

Exceeds expectations
We enjoyed every minute of our brief stay on Debbie’s land. Driving through on a road-trip, we only had one night, but wish we could have stayed for a week!
The hosts are good, true people that welcome you with ease to enjoy their hidden forest paradise among the crop fields. We booked the spot for the advertised swimming pond and were pleasantly surprised to find so much more!
The friendliest draft horses you’ll ever meet, fuzzy cattle (and the opportunity to purchase their grassfed beef), a greenhouse we were invited to make use of for adding to our camp dinners (I harvested some spinach to add to scrambled eggs), plenty of back trails to explore and hike.
We enjoyed the property tour and conversation. Site 3 is secluded and beautifully maintained. The immediate water access was lovely and convenient, and provided a LOUD chorus of frogs to lull you to sleep (I enjoyed; my daughter did not). I appreciated that the bathroom was in a separate building from the host’s home, and remained lit and available at night.
If we ever cross through the area again, it’s no question that we will definitely re-book!

Camping with group of friends
I loved the camp site. The host was were helpful they helped us with tents and toured us the site and provided ice holder box. Everything we ask they provided. Overall, wonderful and I would recommend my friends! Thanks for the wonderful experience we loved it and especially we love your pet honey❤️

AMAZING CAMP
We loved camping on Debbie’s land. She and her family treated us very well and they are very amazing people! Very patient and very king. We loved and enjoyed our stay. They had amazing pets who were amazing to tag along with. Everything about the camp was amazing. They helped us with pretty much everything. Amazing people.
