We purchased our 45 acre farm in 1997, since then we have operated a sustainable small organic farm.  In January of 2018 we purchased 58 more acres that is attached to our land.  The property has a greenhouse, high tunnel and about a half acre of field that we raise vegetables & fruit on.  We have a 3 acre pond with a naturally sustaining fish population, we swim in the pond, many small pastures and woods with streams running through them.  Plenty of wildlife, hiking & mountain biking areas.  We have a certified kitchen at the farm and have products raised & made on the farm to purchase.  Supposedly the house is haunted and there are a couple of haunted sites within 15 miles of the farm.

My husband and I had a great time tent camping on Debbie's land. It's a beautiful and peaceful place. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Will I visit Again?
Will I Visit Again? Absolutely! My daughter and I recently spent a weekend at Bear Creek Camp, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer size of the campsite. It felt like we had stepped into a vast, natural playground, perfect for exploring and making memories. The camp offers a wide range of amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus when camping. We appreciated the convenience of having these facilities close by, especially after a long day of hiking and outdoor activities. The highlight of our trip was the quality time we spent together. We enjoyed hiking through the scenic trails, spotting wildlife, and even trying our hand at some fishing. The camp’s layout is spacious, allowing for plenty of room to roam and discover new areas. My daughter loved the freedom to explore, and I cherished the moments of laughter and bonding we shared. Overall, Bear Creek Camp exceeded our expectations. The combination of its expansive grounds, excellent amenities, and the joy of spending time with my daughter made it a trip to remember. We can’t wait to visit again and create even more wonderful memories.

Exceeds expectations
We enjoyed every minute of our brief stay on Debbie’s land. Driving through on a road-trip, we only had one night, but wish we could have stayed for a week! The hosts are good, true people that welcome you with ease to enjoy their hidden forest paradise among the crop fields. We booked the spot for the advertised swimming pond and were pleasantly surprised to find so much more! The friendliest draft horses you’ll ever meet, fuzzy cattle (and the opportunity to purchase their grassfed beef), a greenhouse we were invited to make use of for adding to our camp dinners (I harvested some spinach to add to scrambled eggs), plenty of back trails to explore and hike. We enjoyed the property tour and conversation. Site 3 is secluded and beautifully maintained. The immediate water access was lovely and convenient, and provided a LOUD chorus of frogs to lull you to sleep (I enjoyed; my daughter did not). I appreciated that the bathroom was in a separate building from the host’s home, and remained lit and available at night. If we ever cross through the area again, it’s no question that we will definitely re-book!

Site 2
Site 2 was a beautiful little peace of heaven. It sits right on the ponds edge and catches quite a bit of sun. It was clean and well maintained. Matt and Debbie were everything you could ask for in a host! Matt took me on a tour around the property and you can tell they have a real passion for their land. He also taught me how to make a chimney for my fires:-) Debbie is an amazing baker and gave me a piece of the best cherry pie I’ve ever had. They have a beautiful greenhouse they let you graze through, hiking trails, cute farm animals, and canoes. It’s awesome to meet people that just want to share a beautiful experience with other people! I will definitely be back in the future.

We had a great time camping here, the hosts were very hospitable and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we need. The dog and cat were very friendly, the fishing was a good, and the campsite was cozy! Would recommend.
