A wooded, country oasis located 20 minutes away from downtown St. Louis. Plenty of city adventures to be had or relax on the peaceful deck overlooking a small creek. Some nearby local hiking spots near the Mississippi River flood plains. Fire pit available for use. Water and 30 AMP electric hookup.Park your camper down the hill from the main house. You will have complete privacy parked in front of our workshop. There is an occupied tiny house attached to the shop. The main house is a one-minute uphill walk. The drive down to the camp area is steep with a tight turnaround. Stop in at the house for instructions or assistance or call ahead of time.

We liked the easy access to the interstate and the quick drive to downtown St. Louis. Meghan was very friendly and answered all questions quickly.

We enjoyed a very quiet sleep on a very level site. Meghan was a great host. As others have mentioned, there is a steep hill down to the site.

Cozy Overnight

Great site for an overnight close to STL for our visit to Gateway Arch National Park. Met the friendly occupants of the “workshop,” and got a visit from their adorable dog (a highlight for us, though something to consider if you are looking for complete privacy/hoping to avoid interactions with other pets). Trees provided great shade and bird watching. Recommend this site to those confident in their driving/towing skills due to the need to maneuver down the steep and uneven gravel road to the site. We were just fine in our 2WD RAM Promaster.

We enjoyed sitting on the porch bird watching. The property has beautiful woods. Friendly family members. The hill is definitely something to consider.

Quiet, secluded, and peaceful!
4 m pop-up camper
Meghan’s place was perfect for what we needed, which was a one night stay on our trek to Kentucky! It’s secluded and peaceful. The terrain is a bit steep and uneven, but we took it slow and it all worked out. There are people who live in the ‘garage’ building that’s next to the site, which we were unaware of but it didn’t bother us. They do have dogs off leash but have fence-less collars on to keep them by the house. Unfortunately, when I knocked on the door to make sure we had the right property, their dogs must have smelled our puppy in my car and jumped on the door, scratching it. For me, it’s not a big deal because my car isn’t new and it’s already got some paint damage. But for those who don’t want that happening, this is your heads up. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I’m sure if we are ever back in the area we will stay again!
