Tent/Primitive site #5
The lake was beautiful witn so many fish! I
We would definitely recommend camping here.
Tent/Primitive #7
The site was a good size but the ground was very rocky, so we ended up bending half of our stakes. The lake was great for fishing small fish, pretty much every time we threw our line out we caught something immediately. The hosts were very nice and brought us a small bundle firewood for $7 so we didn’t have to stop and get some. Unfortunately we ended up cutting our trip short. The photos and other reviews made it seem like it was going to be semi private/primitive, however, it was very out in the open and super close to the road. We spent one night and didn’t get any sleep. There is a train and a busy highway very close by that you can hear all night, and around 3:30 am someone’s rooster started crowing and didn’t stop. We finally packed up everything and left around 5:00 am.

Was very quiet and beautiful lake right outside of your tent. Abandoned house super close, but very clean and peaceful. Came with a fire pit and table which was very nice. You’ll hear cars and golf carts drive by.

An awesome area with a beautiful view. Well worth it for stargazing with plenty of space. I wish I had the time to go kayaking!

Amanda and Justin were excellent hosts! The property is beautiful and even though there were other campers, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and tent camping. Justin made sure we had plenty of firewood and made two deliveries of dry wood to our site!

Really enjoyed our stay! Had the place to ourselves and Amanda was very responsive when I had any questions. The porta potty was about the cleanest I have ever seen! Bought the eggs and they were delicious. You are kind of close to the road so you will get some noise but it was not bad.
