Farm to Folklore is an inclusive getaway and activity farm where families and friends are welcome to rest and explore. Rent the farmstays filled with mystery and wonder. An eclectic expression of the rural Midwest mixed with just right touch of the fantastical. Our family farm is 40 acres of beautiful fields, woods with trails and creeks, and even a small pond with an island. An adventure awaits while walking through the fields, gardens, pond, and forest trails. Bonfire areas throughout the property. Visit with the ponies, ducks, chickens, and farm cats. Experiences available for everyone. Close to Indiana Beach, Delphi Historic Wabash and Erie Canal, Brookston Festivals. Please be aware our property is a family farm and we host mutiple stays. Please be respectful of other guests and private spaces. Thank youOur fairytale campsite is great for families and friends! We are a family run, working farm and enjoy saying hi to our guests! Visit the Wild Grape Escape and try not to get entangled in the beauty. It is located at Farm to Folklore in an old growth oak forest. Stay in an open air structure/wagon. This structure is an original hand built design based on a vintage hay wagon. It is inspired by wild grape vine that grows all throughout the property. Enjoy the forest and fields in its purist form. Provided is a queen bed for relaxation and rest. An additional daybed creates another bed for kids and friends. Cafe table and chairs within the structure create a place to eat your breakfast, read a book, write, or simply to just admire Lost Star Thicket. A dragon clawfoot tub creates an outdoor shower/bath experience next to the bonfire. We provide a hot pot than can be used on the stove to heat water for the bath. 30 gallons of water provided for bathing, cooking, cleaning. An eco friendly compost toilet is available to guests. The kitchenet near the bonfire includes a 1930s propane stove, table with dishes, cast iron pans, cutlery, and cups. Please note no electricity provided at the campsite. In the evening you can warm up with a cozy bonfire and tell those treasured stories. We encourage you to explore the property, say hi to us and check out our experiences. On the farm we also offer activities like wreath making, horse grooming/ horseback riding, and even guided nature walks!! This is a family farm so of course we the hosts, and our family live on the property. We also have another short term rental on the property. Please note our neighrbors house are located through the woods, about 1/2 acre from the site.

Fairytale Camping, The Grape Escape
Just as amazing as the pictures!
The Grape Escape sleeping quarter was stunning in it's own right, but the thoughtfulness and curation of the whole experience was incredible. Everyone who came to visit during our stay, from ages 11 to 75, were blown away by the spot. There were flashlights, candles, lighters, and small firestarters to get the light and warmth going. The kitchen area is well-stocked so as long as you are resourceful, you really shouldn't need to bring much more than food, clothes, and a bit of bug spray (there weren't many at all during our stay as it was dry and breezy). Whether you are going for a little romantic getaway, dragging your kids to the woods for a weekend, or needing a pause just for yourself, this is the spot!

Fairytale Camping, The Grape Escape
This was a prefect getaway. The wagon was adorable and comfortable. The fire ring is right next to an outdoor kitchen with a propane stove. We were able to make meals with more ease than the usual camp cooking. We visited the horses and brought them apples to munch on. Lots of great bird noises including a few loud owls. The stars were beyond ridiculous. Magical stay I read an entire book!!

Perfect location and beautiful decor! The trails were fun and whimsical. We enjoyed the outside kitchen and hammocks under the mature trees.

Awesome place!
We absolutely loved this place! 100% would go back. There was so much property to explore, and all kinds of cute things to find around the trails. The area set up was so cute and looks like it had so much effort put into it. We loved all the small detail around the campsite. Like the homemade wreaths! The wagon had a lot of detail as well. The set up inside was very pretty. And although the fairy lights would only last about 45 minutes once the sun went down, they really brought the look together. Our only complaint, is the mattress being extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get comfortable and get a good nights rest. The site was equipped with just about all you need, including two towels!

Very nice, secluded camping area. The thought and care that went into the decorating is wonderful. Very inspiring.

Such a cool spot!
Such a great spot - sure doesn't feel like central indiana! My kiddos loved the horses and we had a cozy night around the fire enjoying the hammock.
