Welcome to Firefly Grove! A beautiful 13 acre forested property located 6 miles east of historic Pendleton, Indiana. Come enjoy the laid back environment and scenery. We have walking paths that traverse the property and a creek that meanders through. You may see river mink, bunnies, deer, squirrels, hummingbirds, butterflies, hummingbird moths, blue herons, owls and a variety of native flowers, mushrooms, (including morels) and birds. However, nothing is as grand as the firefly season where you can watch them emerge from the ground and progress onward into the tops of the trees. It is a spectacular scene mixed with a lullaby of tree frogs. Our property is bordered by Lick Creek that forms a large forested wetland. You are welcome to fish, float or wade around in it. Please beware there are areas of poison ivy and stinging nettle. We ask that you stay on our property and its one and a half miles of paths when in the woods.Welcome to Firefly Grove! Great experience!
Ronda was an incredible host and the property was serene and beautiful. Close to stores if you need to grab something you forgot, but also secluded enough to make you feel off grid and away from society. Beautiful creek just steps from your campsite and they will keep you stocked on wood for your fire!

Firefly Grove RV
Camping with 40ft Class A
We had an amazing time! Property is wonderful and has spacious private sites, a beautiful view, and a fire ring with access to wood. Ronda and her husband were very helpful too. We arrived later at night so it was very dark. We missed the drive but Ronda was able to talk us through finding it easier. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful central Indiana.
The property was beautiful with lots of cleared space and lots to do. Anytime we had a question we got a prompt answer and were even brought out wood when we said we were getting low. Ronda and Travis were very kind, accommodating, and genuinely happy to be able to share their property through HipCamp! We will most definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Lovely spot!
Google misdirected me slightly, but Rhonda was super-responsive and gave me landmarks - very easy to find the turn-in if you're looking on the right side of the road! What a welcoming host she was, chatted a bit and found info for me about the Danville laundry, recommended the Falls Perk for morning espresso, and showed me the chemical (?) toilet tent - and since no one else was there, I enjoyed an outdoor "shower" with the battery operated pump in a 5-gal. water jug. Camped in a beautiful grove, freshly mowed and maintained and level. Katydids, night skies - super nice!

Hidden gem!
Great place to camp! So beautiful and very peaceful! My children had a blast exploring the trails and splashing in the creek. Property and bathroom was kept well. This is a new favorite spot, we can not wait to go again!
