Welcome to Firefly Grove! A beautiful 13 acre forested property located 6 miles east of historic Pendleton, Indiana. Come enjoy the laid back environment and scenery. We have walking paths that traverse the property and a creek that meanders through. You may see river mink, bunnies, deer, squirrels, hummingbirds, butterflies, hummingbird moths, blue herons, owls and a variety of native flowers, mushrooms, (including morels) and birds. However, nothing is as grand as the firefly season where you can watch them emerge from the ground and progress onward into the tops of the trees. It is a spectacular scene mixed with a lullaby of tree frogs. Our property is bordered by Lick Creek that forms a large forested wetland. You are welcome to fish, float or wade around in it.
Please beware there are areas of poison ivy and stinging nettle. We ask that you stay on our property and its one and a half miles of paths when in the woods.Welcome to Firefly Grove!
