Quiet setting on a Horse Farm. On the outskirts of town. Access to miles of paved trails along the river for hiking or bicycling. There is a fishing pond 1 mile down the road. BYO canoe or kayak to cruise the St Mary’s river. Shops, great restaurants, movie theatre, sculpture tour, golf course, small-town music events every Thursday night in season.
Very nice spot. Secluded and pretty, the horses were very fun to watch and feed carrots to. Felt safe here as a solo female traveller. Would stay here again!
The host is very accommodating, and the dark skies are perfect for viewing constellations and planets. The horses are friendly and enjoy apples.
