I loved tent camping here! You will not find a better spot! Everything was beautiful, the restrooms were clean, and everything is very well taken care of! Will definitely go back to stay again!
Beautiful place and Sara is nice and helpful. There's an outdoor fireplace that's stocked with wood next to a pond, a clean bathroom with toilet and sink and an amazing pole barn. Plenty of space if you have a dog to run around.
Sara was very welcoming and responsive. She gave me two options of where to camp. I arrived after dark, but when I woke up in the morning I was surprised by how pretty the farm was. Also I loved that there was an actual bathroom with plumbing (no shower). I would recommend this spot to a friend. Looked like a pretty venue for a wedding as well.
We weren’t sure what to expect on our first Hipcamp experience and it blew our expectations out of the water. What a delightful experience! Sara was so hospitable and the location was picturesque. We camped in a grassy field next to an old tobacco barn that has been converted to a wedding venue. All the lights were on at the barn with beautiful old chandeliers and lots of little shabby chic touches. When you walk down the road a bit you come to a platform where we watched the sun go down over the hills. In the morning I did yoga on the same platform. There is another Airbnb on the property and I think other campsites so there is the potential to see other people but we did not see a soul. It was just what we needed after being crammed into tiny campsites with no room to relax!
We enjoyed the quietude and peacefulness of this location. We met the host who was very friendly and explained about their property. We enjoyed a nice hike and viewed all their old buildings that are now used as venues for weddings and other group activities.
