Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
With over 15 wineries or distilleries within 30 minutes, we are a great basecamp for bourbon tours, girls weekends, or just enjoying the great outdoors. We are hikers, campers and adventurers ourselves. We want our farm to be a place where family and friends can gather, have fun, and discover the world around us. Enjoy some birdwatching in the morning, explore the small towns all around us, listen to the frogs sing in the ponds at supper time, and stargaze atop our ridge all night. We have incredible views and plenty of wildlife. We have several lodging options available and also use our farm for our own recreation so people may be coming and going throughout the day. All are welcome. We’re also a working farm so occasionally we may need to fire up a tractor. Logistics: No restrooms, water, or electricity but please reach out with questions as we may be able to accommodate special requests. Firewood available for a small fee. Van site accessible by gravel drive with a concrete parking pad in front of the Tobacco Barn. Shaded tent sites accessible by gravel drive and short walk behind the workshop. Fire pit and small pond access. If you’re feeling the itch to really get off the grid let us know! We have some sites open for hike in/hike out, available seasonally. Cell phone reception on most parts of the land. Have a large group? Need help planning a weekend? Hosting an event? Contact us! We also book our camp house and can host events in and around the barn. We have plenty of weekend itineraries ready to go and would be happy to help get you connected with a driver for tours.

This was our first time using HipCamp! This site is perfect if you are looking to visit a variety of Distilleries! Added bonus was great wildlife we were able to see each day! And you could hear the packs of coyotes each night! Great sunsets and rises as well! Bridgette was a great host and provided great recommendations!!

Private, Peaceful
18 ft travel trailer · With pets ·
This site was perfect!! We ended up parking at the end of the gravel which looked out over hayfields and rolling hills. It was very private and beautiful. Host very communicative prior to our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Very quiet and peaceful. Our dogs loved chasing frisbee, we enjoyed walking the field to the orchard for fresh picked apples. We were close to many of the distilleries on the bourbon trail. Had our weather been better - this would have been perfect for stargazing.
